Very exciting, and there's a photo to back it up:

I read that when the article was first posted. I'm a pretty big Muppet fan and my favorite is Beaker, so I really hope these animatronics eventually make their way to Disney World. If not, hopefully I will be back at Disneyland some day to see them.

That will please my girlfriend no end. She loves anything with Muppetty goodness. We spent ages looking for a Muppet Gift shop last visit, only to discover it was temporarily closed due to the Monsters Inc construction.

Hopefully our visit early next year will treat us to some Muppet goodness, or at least the promise of it!

That's so exciting! I can't wait to see them. I will have to keep my eyes open for them.

I guess they're a cooler version of the scary talking trash cans they have around the park

This is awesome! I wonder how they protect these characters from the park guests though! Do they have escorts? Where is the guy with the remote control hiding? Anyway, these characters are brilliant! One step closer to bringing walkabouts to real-life in the parks! I can't wait for the day that we actually see Mickey in the parks at only 3 feet tall (or whatever his height is, exactly) and looking like he stepped right out of the movie screen! I am just wondering how they will get them to a point when they can hug the guests and not get attacked by the over excited or the disgruntled, ha.

When we were at CA Adventure and there was a guy dressed as a regular visitor with a messenger bag. We didn't really pay much attention to him until we realized he had his hand in his bag and was muttering something. After the show was over, he hung around for a while and then walked off discretely.

I'm guessing they'll probably do something similar with the muppets
