A Question About YouTube

Hi everyone- just a quick question. Sometimes, when searching for something on YouTube, certain video descriptions say something like "This video has nothing to do with Halo, hockey, food, etc", and things like that. Do the people posting the videos put those in? I just searched about something Disney, and the majority have nothing to do with Disney, and it's annoying. I was wondering if, since most of these "add-ons" have the same text, did a hacker put them in? Different people have these same random add-ons...???

I'm sure it's something that people do so you'll view their videos. It's really lame and needs to be monitored. I mean even if people searching for "lesbian" do find a clip of you having a laugh with your pals...is this the type of YouTuber you're trying to reach? They're not likely to respond favorably.

Thanks, Luke. It's just annoying- I wish that when you search for Disney, only Disney-related videos popped up.

...Well, well, well, Al. Got something to explain? :P

I've noticed a few times that I'll search for something in particular and will find something that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Gotta love the annonymity and randomness of the Internet. ;)

Cheers,

That depends. Can you handle knowing about material like "The Giggle Loop", "The Sock Gap", "The Prickles, The Blurts, The Head Laugh", "Nudity Buffer", "NAT", and "The Melty Man"?

Yeah, they will list their videos with the most common searches. From Britney Spears to the word "porn" just to get more hits. And once you click on a video, it logs it as a hit, so the more hits a video gets, the higher they get on the list so they can be "most viewed". Pretty much, they are conning you. Best bet is to do a more specific search like: "disney world" "disney lion king", etc

I am sorry to blackcauldron85, but I am hijacking this thread to ask:

How do you save or capture Youtube videos to your own computer?
