I hurt my back shortly before going so not a lot of thrill rides. Did them all once but aside from the smooth Space Mountain they were just too painful especially Indy and Thunder Mountain.

So I rode around Small World and the Carousel a lot with my kids(which is still a whole lot of fun).

In Disneyland the only thing that was closed for the whole time was Dumbo. We initially went for the full pull but decided to do just what we wanted to in the end. First ride was the Carousel. Last was eating lunch yesterday on the Mark Twain.

In California Adventure everything was open but there are so many bad rides that I would never think of attempting the full pull. Did ride Mike and Sulley for the first time. Really glad I did not wait 45 minutes last March. It was enjoyable enough but still only a fantasyland dark ride.

Lines were really short with the exception of Space Mountain and Screaming. Could walk on to just about anything. California Screaming broke down on Saturday evening and they still did not have it running when we left.

My brother and sister in law could not get into it but everybody else had a great time.

You can eat on the Mark Twain? That's awesome. I've only been to Disneyland once in 2003. We usually go to Disney World. However, I really liked a lot of aspects of Disneyland and I really hope to make it back there somtime soon. Is eating on the Mark Twain new? I don't think it was offered when we were there. The only sit down restaurant we ate in was the Blue Bayou overlooking Pirates.

We got food at the Golden Horseshoe and brought it on. I have done it lots of times. Nobody has ever complained.

A couple of other points

1) My brother one a year of a Million Dream Fastpasses on Friday but they werent necessary. I kept it anyway. Thought it was a cool collectible.

2) There was work going on the weekend in the Skyway station. Lights were on and people were working. I tried going up there but was promptly decended upon by security. There must be a security guy dedicated to watching the Skyway. Three times I have tried to go up there and immidiately had someone come after me.

I've always wanted to see what the golden fastpasses look like. If its not to much trouble, could you post a picture please?

Well, despite back problems, glad you had fun.

But don't tell us you didn't go on Pirates of the Caribbean with the added Jack Sparrow animatronics! :o

I guess the Nemo subs still look as they've been for the last months, covered?

Oh, and I assume siggy needs to be changed. :P

Always great to read a trip report from Disneyland, as I am aching to get back there myself. Only 462 days until we get there again.

Not that I'm counting... :)
