Rest in Peace - Darlene Conley

Doubtful anyone else would know who she was, but Darlene Conley, who played Sally Spectra on CBS's
The Bold and the Beautiful since 1989 passed away on Sunday. She was 72.

Can't imagine the show without Sally, she was a breath of fresh air on the show and one of the best (and funniest) characters in daytime.

Rest in Peace, Darlene.
I knew who she was. I used to be a huge soap opera fan. In fact, my line-up would be:
The Price Is Right (I know this isn't a soap, but, this came on first)
The Young and the Restless
The Bold and the Beautiful
As the World Turns
and
Guiding Light
I remember Darlene as the very "larger than life" Sally Spectra. I didn't know that she had cancer. It's sad that she didn't win the battle.

The Bold and the Beautifull is very popular in Europe. And Sally was the best, may she rest in peace.

I remember that soap opera, it was very popular here in the early 90's! God bless her soul, she was so lovely.

I've been a long time on and off Bold and the Beautiful watcher. Yesterday when I visited SoapNet.com it find out what I have missed over the past couple days I read of Darlene's passing. Very sad, the character of Sally Spectra was one of B&B's best, and Darlene Connely was an amazing actress! RIP!
