No Sally this year, just Jack. I have no idea if there are plans to do a "Phantom Manor Holiday" of some kind.

I've done both 'Magical Bus' and Metro/RER and prefer the bus since it's direct from the airport to your hotel. I've never flown into Orly, just CGD.

I assume it's the same system just different airports I guess ? On the bus website they ask which spirit you're going from etc.

Thank you for letting me know though, I feel much more confident in booking now :)

If they did decide to do the Nightmare theme, I wonder if it would work in our mansion as its so story-specific ? I've not heard any rumours to say they are doing this, just a musing I'm having ! But Nightmare does seem to have had a stronger and stronger presence in Disney over the years....

Have you also used the Photopass system at all ? I think it's about 50 euro but it means you have all character and ride photos automatically .... As I'm there for 4 days, wonder if it's worth it ?

I've only done Photopass at the American parks.

The DLP version includes digital copies of your on-ride and character photos, but I think only for some character locations (Meet Mickey Mouse, Princess Pavilion, Spider-Man) and not all of them. If you really want all those photos in particular I think it would be worth it.

Hmm I think I will get the pass. I usually like to pick up a Princess Meet and Greet, and maybe a ride one if its funny ... so if we are there for four days, I think it may very well be worth it !

Both parks are closed today. Thoughts and prayers with the people of Paris.

Just wanted to ask you guys for some advice; I'm going to Disneyland Paris in October with a friend who has never been and is Disney obsessed. Do you think it would be a cool idea to go on the Disney railroad at Mainstreet Station and go for a trip all round the park ? Would that be a good, jaw - dropping intro to the park ? Personally, I've not been on the train before so I can't tell if that's a good idea !

I would advise you to postpone your trip as most of the rides are being refurbished and you still have to pay full price to enter the park.

next year is the 25th anniversary. I would go then.

I did check on that, and the only one that's closed is Big Thunder Mountain. Star Tours is too, but could care less about that. Seems like they're getting all set all things up and running for Halloween / Christmas. Then to start again in January before the 25th.

Get a First Look at the New Frozen Land Coming to Disneyland Paris in 2023

“Known right now as ‘Frozen Land,’ the new land will be made up of a water attraction — similar to the one under construction at Hong Kong Disneyland — two shops, a restaurant and a place to meet the two queens of Arendelle,” the account tweeted in French.

In addition to standing in for the dramatic fjord in the films, the 7.5-acre lake will reportedly offer guests a 360-degree view of water-based shows, according to Yahoo.

Plans also show that Disneyland Paris will have its own version of the ‘Frozen Ever After’ ride, which opened in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion at Walt Disney World in 2016.

I think Frozen Land is looking pretty good!

Disneyland Paris temporary cast members (show performers) are being threatened with being blacklisted if they don't accept an early broken contract. I'm glad the union is trying to help.

I've been to Disneyland Paris back in 2004 and 2005, i enjoyed most of it, though I remember it vaguely. It's there where I bought the special 2-disc edition DVD of Lilo and Stitch.
