This is disappointing and quite shocking too, why the heck did they not finish it then ?! Surely they must know it will be seen ?!

Little bit of an update on Ratatouille; it has now been given a name, Ratatouille: The Ride

I still have zero enthusiasm for this project, have to say.

I need to get back to Disneyland Paris.

Here is the site I use for update on the park. It might have been shared already - I don't know. Check it out.

Apparently Thunder Mountain is due a refit next (after Indy)
They are getting rid of the false locomotive cars at the front of the train. I'd be very sad to see them go.
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

That was an interesting website, thank you for sharing that!

Shame there has been a decline in numbers, what with everything they've been doing to the park as well.

If we get the Nature village in 2015 (if true) that might help pick up the numbers.
I really want to get back to see the new Disney store and Lego store in Disney Village.

I would love a third gate but I think we are a long way off that. Although I would prefer if it wasn't marvel themed. I'd love something like California Adventure or even Epcot. A water park could be good but Europe just doesn't have the weather.
Please, please, give us a splash mountain or the Little Mermaid ride. Would have loved these over a Ratatouille ride.

I've spoken to some friends about going over the summer for a weekend, and using "oh they have a new ride, based on Ratatouille!" does absolutely nothing; none of my friends have any interest in it at all, myself included. I'm sure there are some people who are really excited; I've just yet to meet any of them.

The park has been redecorated with a 'Swing Into Spring' theme which is kind of odd, but kind of works at the same time.

I like it. The topiaries are very well done.

I know, they're stunning aren't they?

They've done a new parade too! I'm on my phone so I can't post it, but looks wonderful with unusual characters in it which is a nice surprise.

I love seeing those underused characters. It's a really lovely experience.
I was watching old home videos from family trips to Disneyland Paris from 1992 to 2001. My sister and I enjoying a character breakfast as children - almost every character under the sun was about. Prince John, Br'er Bear, Chip and Dale. Characters I never (or at the very best, rarely) see represented in the park anymore.

They are out quite a lot in the Disney parks in Paris I think; someone mentioned on here its easier to have a character in a costume than a face character apparently.

Many years ago Paris has a spring/flower & garden festival, but it didn't last long. I like what I've seen online and hopefully they'll keep it and add onto it every year.

When they were debating a location for DLP, they spoke about Greenwich (where the Millenium Dome/O2 arena is) as a potential place to put it. I think it was said there wasn't enough room for expansion.

It's not heading into Summer and I am gutted they chose Paris. I would have a year pass and best of all, it would be a 10 minute bus ride away.

I do love Paris. I like the fact I can stay in the hotels when I go (which I wouldn't if it was down the road from me).
I still remain hopeful we'll get a DL in the UK. Although that seems increasingly unlikely with the huge financial problems DLP has had.
We are getting (apparently) a Paramount theme park in Kent but it aches my heart that it isn't Disneyland.

Does anyone else get serious Post-Disney depression (PDD) after a Disney Trip? I know I do and quite severe too.

I honestly think that having a Disneyland in the middle of London would be an awful idea; its just too darn small.

If however it was somewhere else in the UK, yes, that would be fabulous, there's no denying it! My guessing would be that it would have to be set down somewhere with space to expand. . . somewhere in the countryside? I am however in love with the Paris park though.

What on earth will they include in a Paramount theme park ? :? I know a Shrek 'Experience' is coming to london, whatever that means.

well...
The 'world-class' venue will feature Europe’s largest indoor water park, theatres, live music venues, attractions, cinemas, restaurants, event space and hotels and, if given the green light, will be twice the size of Olympic Park in East London.
...and Titanic 4D, whatever that is.

He's having a meet and greet by all accounts. I'm not a superhero buff at all, so had no idea he was a Marvel character.

Hmmm I'm not convinced of a Paramount park. At all.

He fills out his role quite nicely, doesn't he? :)

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were at the park a few days ago to promote this:
