It's Official!!! Pirates of Caribbean Dead Man's Chest is #1

According to the final box office receipts for 2006, according to Variety and Boxoffice magazines the number one movie for 2006 was Walt Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest". Woo-hoo!!!!

Disney took 1 and 2 as Cars was 2nd.

This is good news, but I'm not sure it's actulally news -- with its $423 million domestic gross and over $1 billion worldwide, it was always pretty obvious to me as soon as it started climbing up that high that no matter how big the fall films did, nothing had a chance to catch it.

Disney though was the #2 studio overall only behind Sony.

I loved Dead Man's Chest, but I think I liked Cars more. I'm not sure though, I'll have to watch Dead Man's Chest again soon. (I haven't seen it since the summer!
)

I liked Cars too!! It was so funny! Who was you fav character? I liked mater the best!!
