I have ordered both 20;000 leagues and The Love Bug (cant wait). Apparantly they are both brilliant special editions :) What has really surprised me is that The love Bug S.E. hardly even warrants a mention on Disney's official video and dvd web site. :? Apparantly the likes of rolie polie olie are deemed more important to disney than a lavish 2 disc special edition of one of there biggest comedy hits. I would have thought that if they want the (once vault disney) special editions to succeed they would push a little more focas in that direction. Just found it a little odd--last time I looked it wasnt even mentioned on there release calender :?

Agreed, it's ridiculous. They spend the money, time and effort into doing a really great 2-disc Special Edition, and then they keep it hidden. What's that about?

P.S. Mr arrow, you need to update your e-mail address with a new one. The AOL one was problematic because AOL would bounce all e-mails from the forum back to ME as 'unsolicited.'

Home Theater Forum had 20,000 Leagues nominated for best DVD of 2003. It didn't win (Two Towers did), but still it was in very good company. 20,000 Leagues also showed up on many critics' best of lists, like DVD Savant here: http://www.dvdtalk.com/dvdsavant/s1076review03.html

Disney should take advantage of all this good will and promote their live action titles much more aggressively. There is an audience, despite what the clueless marketing department thinks.
