I'm finishing the rest of my holiday shopping this afternoon and planned to drop by the Disney Store to pick up three of the four Treasures. Anyone know if the store has any deals running for these? I remember one year I got a $5 gift card with purchase...

My Disney Store is not even going to carry them.
Not very special at all is it.

I don't think any stores are having deals on them, but when you spend over a certain ammount at Best Buy, you get a $5 gift card. I didn't ask what the amount was, but my total was around $75 and I got it, and buying 4 treasures would be more than that, so that's like $5 off the sets.

A few Wal-marts I called only got the following tins at the price of $22.99 or $23.99
More Silly Symphonies
Complete Pluto Volume 2
The other two tins were MIS (Missing on Shelves). They had spots for the other 2 but they never came in at least today they didn't. So Luckily I had doctor's appointment out of town so I found a Target Greatland close the doctor that had the remaining 2 that I needed. At Target Great land all the Tins were $24.99 each. At Best buy I called and they said they were also $24.99 each.
So in conclusion if you can find a Wal-Mart with them then thats probably the cheapest you'll find them at in a store and not online.

The Disney Store at the Mall of America didn't have them today. They didn't even know what I was talking about.
A local Best Buy had all four titles for $24.99, so I got the three I wanted from there.

I think the Superstore and Zellers here have older ones for cheaper since they don't really sell here due to the fact this is more of a retirement town than a normal town

I think I saw one for 10$ in the cheapie bins like I said, they don't sell here, maybe about a dozen or so at the most but thats about it

All the Wal-Marts in my area were missing those two sets as well. They didn't have them at all at Disney Stores, Target, or Circuit City. Our Best Buy had 1 of the Hardy Boys but the case was dented. Sam's Club was the only place I found that had all four sets and they were $21.99 there.

Our Best Buy didn't have any of the new ones on the shelves today! That was the first time I've encountered that. We tried to get them to search in the back, and after a long time and two employees, we managed to have one come out with two Treasures sets. He said they were all he could find: Silly Symphonies 2 and Pluto 2. The Pluto one was dented, so we just got the Silly Symphonies 2 set and Gummi Bears volume 1 there. We then went to Target, where they had all the new Treasures for the same price as Best Buy, so we got the rest there. They're my Christmas presents, along with Gummi Bears, so I won't be able to watch them till Monday, ha. I MIGHT be more psyched about the Gummi Bears than anything. Still need to get the second sets of DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, and Gargoyles (which they no longer seem to have), plus some version of Narnia and the 4 Disney Legacy sets.
Oh, for those interested though, our Best Buy (so probably others too) had a ton of the Disney Treasures Mickey Mouse Club set and Mickey Mouse in Black and White (vol. 2 I think, but not sure). They also had a bunch of Pluto volume 1, and maybe some Spin and Marty. Not sure if they had any others. Those are the ones I remember the most. Mainly, they had a TON of the Mickey Mouse Club Treasures Set. Anyways, I'm just glad I have at least managed to keep up with the Disney Treasures Collection so far, though the review of one of my most aniticipated ones, "Your Host, Walt Disney," was rather disappointing. I knew there was some double-dipping, but I thought we'd at the stuff uncut this time. I am going to be very happy to get the new material on there though, and since I haven't gotten a chance to upgrade my Darby VHS to DVD, I'll be thrilled to have "I Caught the King of the Leprechauns."

Has anyone seen these at Costco? Usually they have them for about $21.99, but with the limited numbers maybe they won't be getting them. Also, Costco didn't have the True Life Adventures either.

Actually yes, Costco has all of them, (a least the one in Norwalk CA.) although I saw about twenty pieces of each one, as well the “Legacy” collection...I got my treasures for 19.89 each. If someone has the membership there is no reason for not to get them there.

Bill, see my post in the Wave 6 Discussion thread. Costco has all 8 at $19.89 each, but they held off displaying the TLAs until yesterday. So you were right, they didn't have them initially, but they do now.

Thanks MCDuck and MickeyMouse. My wife was in Costco on Tuesday getting 007 sets 3 and 4 and she may have picked these up for me too. If not, I guess I'll be buying them on the 26th.
