That would have been a PR nightmare the likes of which even Disney would have been hard-pressed to recover from anytime soon. If this is indeed how things happened then I not only support the decision to revise but I also applaud it.

9/11 made me an angry person.I wanted to seek revenge from the TV stations for airing but news.And Disney delayed "Big Trouble"(with Jason Lee) and it bombed,and no more hijacker movies.9/11:The third worst day of my life.Nothing on TV.

Just making sure I've got this straight:

-4 planes were either flown into buildings or crashed into fields.
-Nearly 3,000 people were killed, scores more injured physically.
-An already fragile US economy lay on the brink of collapse.
-Thousands of folks, like myself, living on the brink in their jobs because of a fledgeling economy, ultimately lost their jobs as a DIRECT result of 9/11.
-Our airline industry, the lifeblood of the economy, was irrevocably tarnished and remaons one more attack away from a near total collapse.
-The attacks were likened to the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 and brought the US into basically a state-of-war that we still live under today.

...and you had a bad day because there was nothing but news on TV?

Are you saying that the only thing that made you angry on 9/11 was that there was nothing on TV????? Oh my God...! Now I've heard it all... Don't you care about all the people who died that day, all the children that lost their parents, and all of those families who lost a relative...? All you cared about is TV? You've really surprised me... and disappointed me...

that's a pretty pathetic reason for it being a bad day. it was bad for me due to worrying about friends and family members who live and work in nyc. sure most channels shouldn't have covered as much as they did, just left it to the news channels and given us some relief from the horrible news on other channels, but my God, it was one of the most tragic events in history. i'm sorry that nothing was on tv for you to watch that day, but my goodness!

As someone who saw the Towers get hit and tumble from my bedroom window, I think it's safe to say that you've written an extremely idiotic and insensitive comment.

I wonder what the worst day of your life is - oh, let me guess, the big East Coast blackout of August - no TV or electricity of any kind. Great priorities.

As someone who saw the Towers get hit and tumble from my bedroom window, I think it's safe to say that you've written an extremely idiotic and insensitive comment.

Totally agree with you, i've been trying to defend his comments for a while but this is absolutely the most selfish post he's written. And by the way Luke, have you actually seen the towers get hit??? it must have been awful...

Actually the two worst days of my life were the deaths of my grandparents.

i agree tangela... he's gone over the top with this post. i've recently tried to ignore what he posts, but this one just really pissed me off. it is one of the most uncaring, insensitive remarks i've heard out of anyone!! definitely a piece of info he should've kept to himself..

Well, of course those would be really sad days for me, but your reason for being angry on Sep. 11th was dull and selfish...

Only local news is important to me(I'm from Missouri).

one of these days you will realize how important what goes on in the rest of the world is and how much it effects you. 9/11 is why my husband's car is searched every day when he goes to work. It's why our 80 year old grandparents have to take their shoes off when they go through security at an airport. the threat of nuclear weapons in north korea keeps one of my families dearest friends away from his own new family months and months at a time. dirt cheap labor in china and other countries is why my home state has one of the worst unemployment rates in the nation.

so basil, please, before the hole you have dug for yourself gets any deeper, you might want to lay off your comments..
