I picked Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria.
It is so powerful and a PERFECT way to end the PERFECT movie.
Runner-ups:
The Nutcracker Suite
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
The Rite of Spring

Dance of the Hours, Dance of the Hours, Dance of the Hours...
I know it's hardly the most visually spectacular of the lot, but I love every single of second of this one, and I can watch it over and over without experiencing even an inkling of boredom. It's simple, colourful, warm, charming and funny as hell. Go Hippos!

I absolutely love your signature Caballero Girl. The Saludos Amigos/Three Caballero's duo are two of my absolute favorite disney movies.
As for Fantasia, I had to vote for Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria. While most of the segments are great this one is spectacular.

Why thank you.

I'm a diehard fan of the Three Caballeros myself...but I guess that probably goes without saying.

My favorite is the Pastoral Symphony. As a kid I would always look forward to that part. I love the pegasus, and all of the other other fantasy stuff in it.

The Pastoral Symphony was my favoutite as a kid, but it's been put aside by the Nutcracker Suite. I just love the seasons. When I was little, I wouldn't let my family watch Night On Bald Mountain, because it scared me too much. Needless to say it took second place now that I'm older

I voted for the Nutcraker Suite. I can't imagine how hard it must've been to go against what automatically pops into your head while listening to this piece. Yet, they managed to create something new that seems to match it just as well. i love it!

I love Night On Bald Mountain because its so dark and mysterious because we see Chernabog but he is one of the only villains whom we know little or nothing about

I voted for "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", but my runners-up are "The Pastoral Symphony" and "Dance of the Hours".

So difficult, but I had to pick "Night on Bald Mountain". There is not one sequence in "Fantasia" I consider to be weak, but "NOBM" is just so incredibly artistically ambitious and much darker than even the dark elements of "Snow White" and "Pinocchio".

Best: Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria
Favorite: Rites of Spring
Overrated: Pastoral Symphony (the whole "it's censored!" thing makes it seem more important than it really is)
Underrated: The Soundtrack

Even without thinking about the "controversy", it's still such a nice cartoon- it's very fanciful, dealing with characters from Greek mythology. I like the colors and character designs, too.

Oh yes, I agree it is a wonderful cartoon and one of the most vibrant and colorful in Fantasia. It's just that I feel people put too much emphasis on it simply because of the controversy; the cartoon should be enjoyed on its own merits, not on the controversy around it. I actually find it to be one of the weakest segments in Fantasia because it's sense of story is one that's hard to grasp (what with them pretty much just frolicking around in paradise), and feels very empty despite the wonderful Beethoven music and stunning visuals.

Which one is the one with the dancing hippos and alligators? That was a riot.
But I think I like the one with the horse men best because I really wanted to be one of them. Wait, was that Fantasia?

I love the nutcracker suite! The dancing mushrooms are just the best! Especially the little one, it's so funny the way he struggles to keep up with the others and tumbles and falls all over the place. I always loved fantasia though, more films like this should be made - I'm so glad I grabbed it on DVD before it vanished back into the vault!
