I am a newcomer to this site & I look forward to a happy residence here based on what I've read here so far. A few years ago, I called a movie studio concerning a song that was deleted on the laserdisc version of the movie I purchased. The representative informed me that their studio (& others) at times will have three versions. They are: Theatrical, Television, & Video. The video version may have a deleted sequence (song or scene) based on time restraints of the medium. He also said that copyright laws can have a significant bearing on the version released. I have always felt that if a movie is to be digitized into a permanent format, the original theatrical version MUST be first. If the studio wants to change anything, that altered version should only be considered a "supplemental" element. "Disney" is a name known for quality & class. They are also the owners of some of America's most beloved artistic treasures. If anyone associated with "Disney" reads this posting, I urge you to set your company's wheels in motion to re-evaluate their actions & future plans for DVD releases. When I am willing to put out my hard earned money for a Disney classic, I'd like to know that I am buying the movie I know & not the one that someone else decided to alter because of a silly belief that I will like it better---NOT!!!!! Thank You.---Bill

The movie was "Beach Blanket Bingo". The deleted song was "I'll Never Change Him" sung by Annette Funicello. ---Bill

Then, they shall release all three versions on one package(more than one disc,of course).
