Well i am! ever since i first saw this on video in Junior high after reading a magazine article on anime, i rented it and after that i instantly loved it as it got me hooked into anime.

If you haven't seen it, you don't know what your missing.

Akira is one of the best films of all time. The plot pulls this film together, as well as the very good animation. It isn't my favorite anime, but would be my favorite, non Studio Ghibli anime. This movie is truly great, and everyone should see it.

I remember I saw that film a long time ago, I thought it was really violent. I thought when the girl gets squeezed to death when Akira starts to get a big and meaty was masty. But it's a good film no less, it was one of the films that helped my understanding towards violent anime films.
