Rabbit-Proof Fence for $19.99 SRP($14.99 at stores) sounds like a nice pick-up.

I encourage everyone to take a look at this. I believe the Australian version has a stack of extras (commentaries, docos etc), but it is a great film documenting a less noble part of our history. (But keep in mind, that the views expressed in the film by the white bureaucracy are not necessarily the view of all Australians at the time, as it certainly isn't now).
Still I encourage everyone to watch it, as there are still many areas in which our government could need a good international kick in the pants.

As for the other price reductions, I'm glad I held off on 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea & Ichabod. Will certainly pick up at those prices...

I've been seeing Swiss Family Robinson, Treasure Island and other Vault Disney or 2-Disc Live Animation titles at Wal-Mart for $14.88. Wonder if these get chipped away in price there, too ....

castleinthesky, neither SALUDOS AMIGOS or 3 CABALLEROS are going to be released on a special edition DVD. That's what Buena Vista told me in an e-mail last week, after I asked them about it. Also, SWORD IN THE STONE won't be released as a special edition.

By the way. All those titles above that I've read as $19.95, are $14.95 at WAL-MART. Today I've bought BEEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS for that price -the 30th aniversary edition-. Also, surprisingly, ATLANTIS and THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE, are at Wal-Mart for $ 14.95.

They also had for that price the Latinamerican films. But although I'm lookin' for them like crazy, I haven't seen them at that store for a while.

Oh! and till next week, NEMO 's dvd IS $13.95. Isn't that amazing?

And don't forget, you could probably get all the 'Vaults' for even less if you bought the box set (great little buy).

Ahh...now, do I wait until March's cheap price arrives to finally pick up The Nightmare Before Christmas, or do I pay a bit more to have it by Christmastime? Decisions, decisions...

Nice to see some of the lesser known animated classics getting price drops, too. Maybe I can finally get around to picking up The Black Cauldron soon.
