I've been reading around but that's confused me. I'm going to Disneyland Paris from the 5th to the 9th of February and want to know if are any events and parades. I've been before but I'm muddled.

Just FYI: Disneyland Paris hasn't been the name for almost 5 years now. The name of the park is Parc Disneyland.

Anywho, shows & parades:

There's a new parade for the park's 15th anniversary next year but it won't be running until spring 2007. The Wonderful World Of Disney Parade might be performed during the days of your trip, as well as the Tarzan & Lion King shows. Since You'll be visiting during the low season there'll probably be no fireworks and no Fantillusion either.

During your visit the following attractions will be closed for refurbishment:

Autopia
Casey JR
Le Pays Des Contes De Fees (Storybookland)
Le Carrousel De Lancelot
Le Mystere Du Nautilus

The average daytime temperature in Marne La Vallee in early February is about 43°.

Hmm.....are you sure you wanna visit on those days ? I think it might be better if you go during one of the peak seasons.

Correct. The official name Parc Disneyland translates to Disneyland Park in english.

Euro Disney Resort Paris - 1992 thru 1995
Disneyland Paris Resort - 1995 thru late 2001
Disneyland Resort Paris - late 2001 thru present

THEME PARK #1:

Euro Disneyland - April 1992 thru May 1994
Euro Disneyland Paris - June 1994 thru Sept. 1994 (many people forgot about this one)
Disneyland Paris - Oct. 1994 thru Dec. 2001
Parc Disneyland - Jan. 2002 thru present

THEME PARK #2:

Parc Walt Disney Studios - March 2002 thru present


The original name for the studio park when it was in the development stages (back in 1992) was Disney MGM Studios Europe. When construction finally began nearly 10 years later the working title was changed to Walt Disney Studios Paris. Before the park opened it was changed to Parc Walt Disney Studios.

One oddity about the switch from Euro Disney Resort Paris to Disneyland Paris Resort was that it happened a little after the theme park's 2nd name change. So for a very brief period of time there was Disneyland Paris at Euro Disney.

oh no! im going on feb 1st, and i really wanted to go on the story book ride, but that appears to be shut! that is the one where you can see prince erics ship and castle, right? As i missed it last time and was bummed!

If you check the website you should be able to see which show's and parades are running. I went in March of this year and the main afternoon parade was on everyday, and the Disney Studio's parade was on.

Most attractions were open, I can't really remember anything being closed, but a few of the restaurants were closed.

It's a bit of a trade off between going in high season, and going when the park is quiet. I did go years ago in the middle of summer, and there were huge queues for every ride. However, in March, I found that once it got to about 4 or 5 o'clock in the evening, the park started to clear alot and you could virtually walk straight on to a lot of the big rides.

Make use of the fast passes during the day too, and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I'm going back myself in March again.

I looked on there usually February will be up January i my past trips are the same.

French castmembers (at least the ones who would do the international program and come work with us in WDW) always have the sexiest accents. We had two join us in ODF, Julie and Nicholas. I'd always have conversations with them because I loved hearing them talk with their accent.
