Good Evening,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if The Brave Little Toaster was released theatrically, and if so when the release date was. Thanks in advance for the info.

I think it didn't get a real theatrical release - just made the festival circuit, if I'm right.

I bought this the day it became available on DVD, since my VHS was in pretty bad shape when I first played it (silly me, I never opened it right away and lost the chance to exchange it for a tape that worked properly).

I first came across it when it originally aired in Disney Channel. I didn't think I was going to be impressed, but the film has great characters, a lot of nice moments, and a tight little plot. And with the limitations the creators had, they did an excellent job that makes the film all the more impressive. Maybe there were a few too many songs, but hey, it's great for kids.

"It ain't home on the range!"

I was pretty disappointed with the DVD though. Not that I expected any actual bonus features from a title like this, or even a restoration of any kind, but the film is so dusty and dirty at the beginning! Yikes!

Jon Lovit's voice kicks so much. . . well, you know.

I haven't seen the sequels yet and I'm not sure if I care to. My friend was just telling me about a scene that she thought was perverted (oh no, not more "hidden" Disney imagery)! But maybe it's not fair of me to bring that up since I haven't watched that part for myself.

a very undererrated movie....

kirby is my fav... in fact u could say he's grrrrrrrrrreat! (same voice as tony the tiger-but i am sure u all knew that anyways....)

the sequels didnt phase me that much... but i still watch them when they are on toondisney.

still though, great movie! some very emotional parts & I like that in an animated movie.

My kids and I watch the Brave Little Toaster all the time (at least once a month). We also love the two sequels. The Mars one is a bit better then the Rescue one.

I have all three on VHS and 2 of the 3 on DVD. Can't bring myself to spend the $14.99 or $16.99 for the last one.

I used to love that movie! I didn't know there were sequels but I doubt I'll ever get them. I may have to see if I can find the original on dvd for a cheaper price. $14.99 seems like a lot for such an older film.

Oh I love the Brave Little Toaster it was defintley one of my favorite to rent when I was younger since my pearents never bought it for me or they didnt have the chance too. But its all good I bought this movie the first day it was relased on DVD. I still havent picked up the sequals although I have one that I got on VHS back in the day. I have to admit it is a bit werid Lol going to Mars and all but still pros for creativity. :)
