Over on DVDTalk someone says they have, or have seen, a "Silly Symphonies" Treasures Tin with the face inverted (picture the other way round?).

Anyone here see, or get, one like that?

I found it. It's on eBay:

The one in the middle has the picture in the middle upsidedown.

It's probably just a factory error. Either that or it's a fake.

You are probably right.

Has anyone tried to lift up the label on a Treasures tin? That's the hard part. Re-Shrinkwrapping is easy. Not that I am saying that's what that person did.

Thats not inverted, thats upside down. Anybody with a tea kettle and paste could have done that.

Actually no. If you look at it again you'll see that the indentation behind the picture is too high up on the face of the tin. Basically it looks like this particular lid was rotated 180 degrees somewhere between adding the WDT title/serial number and the indentation/picture.

Okay. So that means its not a fake. But its still upside down, not inverted.

Most likely it's a bootleg or a photoshopped joke courtesy of GOGOinVegas?

It's very unlikely that the very first printing would have both an inverted logo and a misspelling.
