In general, I think it's like this:

Code: Select all

That is so cool, you can actually keep a record of your dvds online and show it to others!

Okay, I just made one of these lists as well. Seems like a good way to keep track of em, eh? I was surprised to see that they had most of my discs there. There were a few that didn't show up, the 3 free Disney world DVDs, some assorted free promos and one I bought at WDW. Otherwise than that they were all there and I think that's pretty good. Now let's see if the link appears in my signature...

Thanks Basil. I'd have a lot more but I got laid off from my job quite a while ago and so I don't have as much money as I used to. :( I hope to have at least a temp job before the Treasures sets come out. I MUST have them no matter what! I am also engaged, so my girlfriend and I coordinate our DVD purchases so that we don't end up with a lot of doubles. We already have a bunch of them but I figure that it is always good to have additional copies in case of emergencies.

Uh, yeah? A lot of the better paying jobs are threw Temp Services, or contractors. Not a lot of companies seem to want to hire real employees anymore. My last job I worked at for 6 years and it was threw a number of contract companies, last one being IBM.

What I'd like to do is set up some kind of thing where you guys can host a list of your DVDs owned and wanted on the site. With a database where you can add your picks, and maybe add like a profile and picture...and well, I'm just not very knowledgeable when it comes to advanced technology, but I think it'd be a very cool thing to offer for people whose posts contribute to the forum.

Maybe 2099net has some expertise he could share with us.

I'm sure something like that could be arranged. It would probably have to be after christmas though.

Awesome to hear that it's doable. And certainly after Christmas. I think you've been plenty swamped with UD work with all the great stuff that went into the shop. Thanks so much for your help!
