Does anyone know the dates regarding these releases for Australia?
Will the content be identical - or almost - to Region 1's?

Are you sure that these will be released at all.
I know that a couple of the Treasures are released in Europe next month but I do not know if Frank and Ollie will be released at all outside America.
I guess this would be to small titles that they can not make the money they will cost.

Well, according to sources at BVHE, we are getting the Silly Symphonies and the MMILC sets in February.
I imagine these will be the same as the UK copies, which are identical to the R1 copies (except for the Tin and the spelling of 'Colour').
No word on Frank and Ollie to my knowledge.

They are really just Best Of's from Disney characters and other Disney stories.

So strange that we (and the UK, and most of Europe by the sound sof things) are getting both the Fables, the Everybody Loves and the Treasures.
Seems a waste, unless:
1) They are thinking there should be a 'budget' version for the 'family' market
2) There were no initial plans to release the Treasures, then they had a change of heart
3) Everybody at Disney is mad, and they've really dropped the ball on this one...
I'm going for 3, although 1 is a likely market. Disney is big everywhere, but I guess the market for Mickey toons isn't as big here as it is there (the US). Mind you, your tins were only limited to 125k-150k so I guess it makes sense to limit our Fables/Everybody Loves to a major chain store...
Don't like it though. I wonder if the same will be done with the Treasures?
I hope not...
(On a barely related note, the Rolling Stones have limited the release of their DVD is the US to BestBuy stores. People are complaining).
