Okay it's slipping my mind, what other DVD aside from Behind the Scenes was Reluctant Dragon on.

The thing is i really dont wanna shell down 30 bucks for a DVD {behind the scenes....} that i'm never gonna watch except for the animated part. what other dvd was this title on?

It's reported to be on the R1 Pete's Dragon DVD in some Disney publicity - but isn't.

It's apparently going to show up on a future Walt Disney Fables disc outside of America.

In other words: It is only availeble on the Treasure DVD in America.

It's coming on the Walt Disney Fables volume 6 DVD. However, that's only going to be the 20 minute "mini-classic" version (i.e. the main animated segment), not the full feature film.

Edge, I have a brand new copy of the Behind The Scenes. Perhaps we can work out some sort of deal if you're interested in it. Send me an email at Dooks21@Hotmail.com. I'd be willing to offer you a great deal or perhaps even trade if you have anything of interest. I might also have another suggestion if you'd like to send me an email, we can discuss it further. As it stands, this is the only way to see the entire Reluctant Dragon feature on R1 dvd.

The Reluctant Dragon can be found on the Behind the Scenes at Walt Disney Studios Treasure Set and if you are talking about the one starring Robert Benchley (i think thats his name), a little bit of it can be found on the Dumbo DVD which shows the Casey JR scene from the Reluctant Dragon.

One dissapointing thing about the Reluctant Dragon on the Behind the Scenes Treasure is that there are no chapter breaks, so if you want to skip the live action (which is very interesting on it's own) and go right to the Reluctant Dragon, you have to visually scan the film.

I really liked TRD when I was a kid and only saw it on a VHS tape that only had the animated portion plus an short called Morris the Midget Moose.

Another thing that The Reluctant dragon full feature has is the Goofy Cartoon "How to Ride a Horse" which I was dissapointed not to find on the Complete Goofy Treasure. But again, if you want to watch it, you'll be scanning the whole film to find it.
