Oh wow, where did you get your hands on the cast list? So Ariel's mother is in this one, interesting. Lol, and only one of Ariel's sisters.

Where's your source please. :D

I'm guessing one part of The Little Mermaid III will have Ariel telling Melody about her childhood as that's how you get Ariel's mother into the story.

I can't help but feel cynical about those lists. There are too many top actors in these considering they're both DTV films. I can understand a couple of them being interested, but not so many at once. Maybe I'm wrong, and Disney has just been more persuasive than usual in getting celebrities attached to these projects. Until we get official press releases from Disney, though, I'm taking these with a grain of salt.

Nooooooooooo!!!! Not more "Tiny Tip and Daring Dash. Adventerer's Slash Explorers!" I can't stand TLMII. I mean it has some good things, but some of the characters need to be killed off (i.e. Tip, Dash, and Melody, yes Melody). Zac as Tink's Boyfriend. Que interesante!

Those cast lists are from WikiPedia. I don't know where he/she got the release dates from though... Everyone should take this with a grain of salt, as the WikiPedia page of "The Little Mermaid III" has 2 different adult voices for Sebastian, so that explains a lot on accurasy. I also find it very unlikely that Captain Hook and Smee will appear in "Tinkerbell", as the film is CG and it wouldn't make sence to include Hook and Smee and leave out Peter Pan, wouldn't it?

Brittany Murphy as Tinkerbell?
Interesting...

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Brittany Murphy, but this doesn't seem like her type of movie.

I hardly consider wikipedia to ever be reliable, but here is to hoping that quality voice casting could actually help these dtv movies. So far I believe the only thing that has been confirmed is Brittany Murphy.

surely Prince Eric's original voice actor is available? Christopher Daniel Barnes I THINK. If Jodi Benson can still do Ariel, he can still do Eric.......there's technology.......

Hmmm, it WOULD be interesting to see if Ariel's mother was mentioned.

I hope she doesn't get to say too much. I mean, actually Tink can't speak. ;)

I hope Hook and Smee ARE in the Tink movie!

Seeing Ariel's mom would be a trip!

I am not thrilled about Tink speaking, but I guess they wouldn't try to make an animated feature nowadays without letting her speak....

Well, I think the Tinker Bell cast list seems very fake. Too many really famous people there.

And as far as TLM3 goes, I know Sally Field was pretty much confirmed, but the thing that gets me is this...Ian Mckellen? That seems to me very fake. Why would Mckellen (having never done this voice before) agree to do so for such a minor part? I smell fake.

Confirmed casting

I have just interviewed Jesse McCartney (last Tuesday), he was in France to promote his new album "Right Where You Want Me"...

As you may know, he will be the voice of Peter Pan in Tinkerbell... He also precised that he worked with a bunch of actresses (Brittany Murphy and Lucy Liu) who played fairies.

He said he had lfun on this project, and that Peter Pan is definitely one of his favourite Disney Movie !

The full interview is available here (french... sorry guys!) http://www.pyxidis.fr/dossiers/page.php ... -McCartney

ARGGG! owell I still have hopes for this one...but seriousley if there gunna have one of Ariel's sisters mite as well have the other five lol.

I don't know if I want to believe any of this (except for Brittany Murphy, because that was confirmed here on UD). The Jesse McCartney as Peter Pan sounds a little convincing, but the link posted did not work. But he did sing "Second Star to the Right" from Peter Pan for Disneymania 2 and "I'll Try" from Return to Neverland for Disneymania 4, so Peter Pan very well may be his favorite movie. If its true, this is sad because I liked Blayne Weaver (I think that's his name) as Peter Pan since he had the right youthful spirit (despite him being 30something and playing a 12ish year old) and sounded close to Bobby Driscoll.
The rest of the cast seems like it could've been easily made up and all the big names don't sound like they'd sign on for a DTV. I think this is more of a wish list than an offical cast list.

I'll celebrate when this member returns and gives us a more reliable source than Wikipedia...

Paris Hilton wants to play Tinkerbell - not her pet Chihuahua, but the famed fairy from "Peter Pan." A source tells us the celebutard is lobbying for the title role in Disney's live-action version of "Tinkerbell," in which the pixie finally gets a chance at life as a real girl. "Paris has worked on her acting chops lately and showed some comedy prowess in her YouTube spoof of running for president," our insider said. "Disney suits saw it and think she may be developing some comedic-actress potential."

Take this with a grain of salt, I guess. I haven't heard of Disney wanting to make a live-action Tinker Bell film...and I can't imagine Paris Hilton being cast as Tinker Bell, even if Disney did make a live-action film.
