A little help, please.... Lady and The Tramp movie night

My daughter's 3rd birthday in next week and we are planning an Outdoor Movie Night in our backyard for her and the neighborhood kids. I'm planning on showing Lady and The Tramp. I haven't watched this movie since I was a kid. I am in need of two suggestions from everybody.

1. I'd like to show a short cartoon before the main movie like the old days. I was thinking of showing a Mickey Mouse/Pluto cartoon because of the dog connection with Lady and The Tramp. I have all the Disney Treasures but I'm not good at remembering which cartoon is which. Do any of you have a suggestion for which one (by name) to show? I’m thinking of one that had Chip and Dale perhaps (not the Christmas one). Any suggestions?

2. My other question is about a good time for an "Intermission" in Lady and The Tramp. Obviously it should be sometime in the middle of the movie. I haven't watched this movie in 25-30 years so I can't remember where a good break would be. Perhaps between 2 specific chapters in the DVD? Any help there?

Thanks again for the time. It's been ages since I posted anything here but I do check the home page almost every day. This is defiantly the place to go for Disney info. Thanks in advance!

I haven't gotten around to watching my new Lady and the Tramp DVD yet, so I can't be too helpful, but you might want to check if it already has a good Pluto cartoon on there as an extra. Maybe not though. I know that Lady and the Tramp 2 had a couple on the old DVD release (which is the one I have).

A good intermission break would be between chapters 11 and 12, right after the visit to the beaver. As for the short, "Pluto's Party" is really cute. It's on disc 1 of Mickey Mouse in Living Color volume 2.

"Bone Trouble" is a fun Pluto short which seems like it's on a lot of DVDs, including Wave 1 of the Treasure, Lady and the Tramp II, and the Vault Disney Old Yeller. "Lend a Paw" isn't entirely dog-centric (since it involves a cat), but it's another classic and is on at least 4 DVDs you may have.
