I'm a big collector of Disney Couture, and I recently came across this new store opening at Downtown Disney in California. Does anyone know if there are plans to open one in Florida as well?

Disney Vault 28 - Where Hip Trends Collide with Disney Couture
Replete with hip, funky, sexy, comfy clothes this contemporary style boutique - paired with an upscale "Disney" creative edge - a place where unexpected finds in apparel, jewelry and accessories is synony'mouse' with today's latest styles. We hope that it will offer an ever-changing mix of clothes and accessories for both men and women as well as a select range of gifts and home accessory items, not to mention our own Disney apparel which has been given an unexpected twist." Disney Vault 28 will have a menu of items on their list this Fall, so be sure to frequent this A-List only hot spot for the latest styles, traveling trunk shows and special events.

Sounds like it could be good or bad. I like a lot of the new clothes at the park which are very modern, but with the Disney touch. However, I don't like the way "The Nightmare Before Christmas" clothing looks almost exclusively gothic (I don't mean to offend anyone. It's just not my style) and a few years back, Disney released "The Black Cauldron" shirts for men and women at the parks and they were very weird. I guess we'll see what this store has to offer when it opens. I can think of some really cool stuff, and the Disney team can usually top what I can come up with, so I'm optimistic about it.

They plan to sell 'vintage' clothing at a VERY modern price.

Imagine an iron-on photo on a yellow shirt with glued on rhinestones being sold for $75.

That's what it'll be like when it opens October 11th.

^ Yeah I know Disney Couture is expensive..but I can't help my obsession lol. I've bought from revolveclothing.com and 80spurple.com. Although I've found some cheaper DC tees at Hot Topic and Delias.com, not sure how they justify the price difference.

Really? I don't get to a park very often, so I had no idea. I find it interesting and random that they'd release any cauldron merchandise lately. What did they look like? I know you said it was a few years back, but I wonder if there any pictures of them online anywhere....

Have you seen those shirts where the image takes up the entire shirt except for the sleeves? It was like that. The one for women had really short sleeves and was the original poster art. The main difference is that the women's one was in full color. The men's was in black and white and I was able to find a picture of it.

Notice how it is called "Walt Disney's The Black Cauldron." I remember I saw these shirts at the big shop on Hollywood Blvd at the Disney MGM Studios. They were there one day and when I was back at the park a few days later, they were gone. I wonder if they were recalled or just didn't sell well. I would have bought it if it wasn't so dark looking. I'd like a shirt with Gurgie and an apple. lol.

wow, that is really an odd shirt. But its oddly appealing. I don't think I'd wear it, but I love the shock factor of it. thanks for finding a picture goofystitch.
