Disney Anniverary

I've never seen more than five minutes of it, and that was years ago, so I don't have much comment, but today is the 10th Anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I didn't buy it because it said it was a Touchstone movie, but if it's on the Disney calendar, that accounts for something. I've always been curious of the film and enjoy its concept as well as Tim Burton's movies, even if they are a bit slow at times. I'll have to make a mental note to see it.
P.S. A week earlier from this past Monday I saw "Kill Bill: Volume 1" and I LOVED it!

It's hardly a Disney style movie [though it's Miramax] I just knew that there were huge movie buffs here so I recommend it to Tarantino fans (i'm a new fan) and martial arts fans. As Roger Ebert said, it's "light on story, heavy on storytelling" but I thought it was nothing short of fantastic. After all, it's really only part of the movie (Volume 1 of 2 of about a 5-hour epic). I have and love the soundtrack and am extremely hyped about seeing it again Saturday night. BTW, it's a total guy flick, but don't let that discourage you, I have met many females who loved it as well. A total tribute to the martial arts/kung fu genre, and I'm not really a fan, but I loved this movie. Go See It!!!

I've never seen Nightmare Before Christmas either ... never felt the overwhelming urge to. I was in college when it was released and I remember people either loved it or loathed it. Don't think I ever heard an in-between review.

no wonder they aired it on television last weekend. i would have expected a new vamped edition of it to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
is it possible that sulley is matthew broderick? i can't figure out why anyone would use a picture of him as their avatar. . .

, no movie star here, Lady. Back when I had a life outside school I felt like changing my avatar so I made a quick pick and that pick happened to be Ferris Bueller. Nothing special about it. Reminder: SEE KILL BILL!!!
