I don't know what I should do! I found out late and I didn't even have time to practice and what not. I don't know what I should do. I have to wake up like at 5am to be there before 8am to get on the line. I am in the NYC/NJ area. I don't know what to do!

I think you should do it.
A person that I know is trying out. She tried out last year too. She made it to I think round two of Hollywood.
But yeah you should do it.
...and don't worry about waking up at 5am. That's not asking much, just waking up at 5am could make you the near-future's most popular recording artist!

Yay! I wanna see BATBFan1 and Pals on TV!!!!
But yeah, don't worry about waking up at 5 AM. It's the little things you do that can lead to something great.
Also, even if you don't make it, you'll at least have been there! It's like what that guy said in the trailer for
Invincible: "Even if you're there for an hour...you're there."
Good luck you guys!! I hope you sing a Disney song! But don't butcher "Reflection" b/c this one season a bunch of people did!
Oh and btw...I didn't know you were in NJ too!! But I'm down south where there's Wawas, Hoagies, and Eagles Fans

I say you should just go for it! It's fame and fortune if you win, and if you don't, you know you've tried!
Plus, you don't need to practice, your a Disney fan, I doubt anyone here hasn't imagined singing a Disney song infront of millions and millions of people, and being excellent at it!
Sing Be Our Guest, then at the end say "BATBfan1!" so we know it's you (If you get on TV that is)
I'm going to audition for Australian Idol and sing Be Our Guest...except I'm going to dress up as a Giant Candlestick...
I'm Serious

Ok so I went there late and they wouldn't cut me a break!
I had no clue about the two day registration thing before the actually audition. They changed it this year and really didn't tell ANYONE!
I am SSOOO glad I didn't waste my time as others did.
They cut people who could actually sing!
That really upset me and to see them cry really stunk.
They used, the line, you don't have THE LOOK which was crud
because the girl they cut looked better than Janet Jackson lmao.
People where really taking it to the heart and crying on their cell phones.
I was just looking like OMG it's not that serious people this is FAKE!
American Idol is so FIXED it's not even funny!
I will not be watching it this season, you can count on that!

If you go-good luck guys...i'm a HUGE Idol fan. I'll be watching no matter what.
It wont hurt to try out- -please- no 15 minutes of fame novelties, ie: scooters, puppets, costumes, twin acts...

An Air Force staff sergeant from around here (San Antonio) tried out dressed as Batman.
Needless to say, he made it to the next round.
