Yeah it was a really stupid TV movie about a basketball player and an evil leprecaun. I remember catching part of it but it was bad.

Well he is also Part leprechaun and changes on St. Patty's Day. I wish there was a DVD as it is one my favorite DCOMs.

It's a Disney Channel Original Movie. You can see a summary of it at

I don't think it's on DVD in region 1. I know there were some DVDs/VHSs of Disney Channel Original Movies that you can only rent at movie rental stores.
Luck of the Irish might be one of them. They replay it on St. Patrick's Day every year. I think they also may replay it when there's a special sports themed week of movies.
It's not a terrible movie. I think it's a pretty cool movie for a DCOM, but I can see where some would see it as bad.
I can't think of any other DVDs not on the UD list. There is a section on
International Releases, but I didn't see this DVD on there. Perhaps this thread should be moved to the International forum?

ooh

I wish i knew how to scan onto here like that. My r4 is exactly the same, but in English. I am a bit computer illiterate, perhaps because i hate the darned things, but its neccesary to use it to order dvd's abroad & use wonderful sites like this.

by the way, just to confirm it is right to hate p.c's, this is what i heard the other day: take the alphabet, make A = 6, B =12, C=18 & so on, take the value of each letter to the word computer, add them up & look what you get. The same works for many words associated with bad, eg: witchcraft.

Yep show off.

but i bet you do not know what the back looks like. then again i should learn to keep my mouth shut with a clever clogs who has the magic genie out of Aladdin or the like, that has to be how you get all this knowledge. No human could be so knowledgeable without one, could they?

it's a shame the character meets an untimely end in Final Destination 3.
Or perhaps it isn't a sequel to Luck Of The Irish and the actor is indeed playing another character.
It makes you think.
I remember I laughed in the movie once.

Yeah, it's not on the International Exclusives page (which is again in need of an update), but its international availability is mentioned on the
TV Movies page.
Kind of odd how Germany wound up getting this one and Johnny Tsunami long before the US (which seems like it might not even ever get them on DVD).

And don't forget Beverly Hills Family Robinson in the UK!
