Post a Photo of Your Disney Collection Part II

by AwallaceUNC
At 50 pages, the previous "Post a Photo of Your Disney Collection" thread is as full as it should be, so discussion and new posts can now continue in this thread. You may click here to find the previous, original thread: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... php?t=4371

The idea behind this thread is for you to post a photo of your Disney collection (usually a Disney DVD collection, but it could also be toys, plushes, figurines, or whatever kind of collection you have) and then discuss.

Unfortunately, I don't have any such photos to share at this point.

Enjoy!

One question, King of the Sofa....what's with the different covers for some of your Disney films? Are they homemade, or something else? If they are homemade, can you show of some of the front covers?

Um, all of the information seems to have been removed from the site. Anyway, I deduce that they are homemade. Do you have pics of the front covers?

I agree, your collection is quite nice.

I did edit the post including a cover shot of Snow White. I didnt make them though. They are from the now-defunct DVDCoverArt.com and were made a while ago. I need to see if anyone had the new Chicken Little one.

awesome collection, SofaKing381222!! Are those all yours or do you share with the family?

I just have one question...why is Saved by the Bell in the children's TV DVD shelf? I know we watched the show when we were kids, but I always assumed that it was a teen show.

Thanks! The regular DVDs are mostly bought by my parents, although I'm the only one who really cares about them. But all of the TV shows and most of the Disney were purchased and have only been watched by me.

And as for SBTB, I really dont have a "teen" shelf. I guess I could put it in the sitcom shelf but It doesnt go together too well with the likes of Reba/Third Rock/Frasier. Then again I do have BMW there..... I dunno. I guess I just felt SBTB was more of a children's show, maybe Ill move it.

I know this is a pretty random question, but is there any particular reason why Cinderella is between Dumbo and Bambi? :P

Well, I'm the originator of this thread and the ultimate animated Disney DVD collector. I think I have all the animated Disney DVD's that are out there in Region 1, I even have the Region 2 releases. The proof is in the pudding!!!!

PS. I just came from WDW where I bought the park's DVDs!!! Yooohhooo!!!

Whoa. Awesome collection reyquila, I believe it is bigger than last time!

Lol, I like how you taped in your tins. Were you worried someone would steal them or did they just keep falling out of the shelf? Anyhow, I suggest you switch to ribbon or rope or something b/c the tape may leave a nasty glue adhesive on the tins. Masking tape may do this more than scotch tape, so you might not have to worry to much b/c you used scotch tape, but still, I'm worried for them, lol.

Well, here's mine.

Not the biggest or the best, but it's a nice little collection I think. :) That Mickey in the picture was a graduation gift from a relative, so I figuered it would be perfect for it to sit there and watch over my Disney films!

And even if I don't own them, I've seen all of the Disney animated classics.

BTW, those gift sets look SO COOL in the other pictures that I may just get all 3 even though I own the films themselves already!

My dvd collection

I have quite a small dvd collection. But here it is. Note I am missing about 12 movies because a friend is borrowing all my chick flicks. If you are really curious you can look at my dvd colletion list which is listed in my sig.

It's a slow growing collection. Most of the money I make goes straight into college bills. Though I babysit also and that's usually the money for extra, splurg-ey stuff.
