Jungle Cruise Refurbishment 1/07-5/07
Universe of Energy 1/07-10/07
El Rio Del Tiempo 1/07-10/07
Soarin' 9/07-10/07
Journey into Imagination 10/06-10/07
Illuminations 9/07-10/07(few days)
Sounds Dangerous closes 6/07 Drew Carey Contract Expiration
Incredibles constuction begins summer 07
These are not definite but some are extremely likely
I also heard about a long refurbishment of Fantasmic this coming winter for additions of a Stitch Scene

I saw somewhere that Fantasmic was going to be closed for about a week in November. If I can find that again I'll let you know. And I like Stitch and all; but I really don't want him added into Fantasmic; he's already taken over so much of the park that it's overkill.

I'm glad about Sounds Dangerous closing too; I never really enjoyed it.

Is Journey into Imagination really going to be closed for a whole year? I thought they just redid that one a few years ago.

Thats a refurbishment schedule not the future of WDW resort. And so what is available on a whole bunch of sites devoted to the Disney resorts?

Where did you see these? Are they mostly rumor or are any credible? I haven't seen any of these confirmed except that Sounds Dangerous is closing.

While it is quite possible that a lot of Epcot will close in prep for its 25th anniversary, I find it unlikely that WDW will close that many attractions at 3 parks at once. Also, which Incredibles attraction are you referring to?

Fantasmic is definitely closing for a few days in November. It's rumored that the closure will be extended beyond that, though this is the first time I've heard of a Stitch addition.

That's exciting; do you have any specifics?

Can't imagine them closing that many rides at once for that long.

Essentially anyone going the first half of 07 would be kinda ticked.

From what I've heard (I was just at Disney World in June and am going again in a week and a half) the Incredibles ride is scheduled to replace "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Play It!" and will be a simulator... I like WWTBAM and wish they would put the Incredibles in the unused sound stage next to it. The one that was turned into a Star Wars gift shop for Star Wars weekends and is hardly used the rest of the year.

Isn't that where the Narnia Attraction is? I haven't been there recently so I don't really know. I just wish they do something with the unused former Superstar Television and Doug Live! attraction building. It's been vacant (well as far as we know) for years.

WWTBAM is scheduled to be replaced by "Midway Mania," a dark laser-tag ride that may or may not include characters from The Incredibles along with other Disney characters. You can read more about it here: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... hp?t=15484

I don't doubt that we'll see some sort of Incredibles attraction, but any details as far as opening date, location, kind, etc. are purely rumor at this point and probably not very reliable.

I did the Narnia attraction and there didn't seem to be lots of room for a ride in there. I was talking about the studio to the left of WWTBAM. Narnia's on the right. And the Doug stage is used during the Star Wars weekend and that theater fills up. Although I would also rather see a ride there. That would be a good place for Monster's Inc. in my Opinion. It's near the current meeting place for Mike and Scully. Btw, what's going on with the old Hunchback theater?

I'm not positive, but I think the new giant cityscape portrait of San Francisco is where it used to be. It's quite sad because that was a GREAT show that made me want to watch the movie which led me to make it one of my all time Disney Favorite Animated Classics.

I hope the el rio del tiempo one is true. I think the ride has a lot of potential, but it definately needs to be updated.
