New DVD Thread IX: At Money's End

Maybe it's just myself, but I have a feeling that we're in need of a new thread. With the last (New DVD Thread 8: Attack of the Separate DVD Editions) already at an overflowing post-count of 495 with 25 pages to boot, it only seems fitting.

For this week, I picked up a used copy of the OOP Tarzan standard edition, mainly considering the fact that I refuse to purchase that rancid "special" edition that was recently released last year.

Went into Target today to pick up some Old Spice.... and there was The Benchwarmers, shiny and good looking and a day early! And at the convenient low price of $15.99 to boot! :P :P

GAWSH!

Little Merman - Luke posted a guideline a couple of years ago. That was to start the new thread when it hit 30 pages(you would think I am a moderator given my posts today)

Superman II

Yeah I know the big box set is coming out, but I wanted to go ahead and pickup a copy of II to go with the first movie which I already had.

The previous thread has been locked, so the "deal" seems to have been okay'ed.

No new DVDs for me over the past couple of weeks and none on order. Now I'm going to watch the ones that I haven't watched yet...

:shifty: Crap! Someone caught on.

Anywhoo, my bad. I wasn't exactly aware of this. Regardless, as Lars stated, it seems that the previous thread has been locked so ... *shrugs*

In all truthfulness, you were more than likely subconciously floating about my mind as I was typing "Maybe it's just myself"

Scrubs: The Complete First Season - brand new for $16.99
Disneyland Resort Video Guide - Some 2001 DVD about the DLR that I got used for $1.99 ... remains to be seen how substantive it is (probably not very, but the bonus features sound cool).

Pretear the Complete Collection (Japanese cartoon, my friend and I went halfsies, it's a friend's early birthday present). I found out that it's 3 DVDs and NOT 4 DVDs like I thought. Eh, she'll still like it though

I picked up Final Destination 3 from Circuit City for $13.99 today.

I remember when I first started buying DVD's and it was awesome to find them for $19.99 when they came out and then CC started lowering their prices every few months and now their down to $13.99 on some new releases, I can only hope it keeps going down. Of course with new format's coming out it might.

Picked up the fourth season of Home Movies the other day. So far, it's proving to be just as funny as previous seasons.
