Hey folks,
question... are there any The Rescuers* characters in the Kingdom hearts game???, I thought It seemed very cool but not if the Rescuers aren't included...

* Refering to the Original Masterpiece (The Rescuers, 1977)

I don't know, but I love all of the pencil test and story reel footage of The Rescuers that is contained on the all new Frank and Ollie DVD.

Maybe in Kingdom Hearts 2 you never know.

i bet the rescuers will not be in Kingdom Hearts 2 as well. i think that in KH2 Sora and the gang will just be visiting the same places before in the first game. there will probably be the same worlds from the last game as well as new heartless worlds.

what's the point in that? if that's the story line and there's not new disney worlds then i wont be buying it!

I think is not fair, if its an adventure Disney game, all characters from at least all the Animated Classics should be included. How are the underrated movies supposed to get fame if they don't even get a chance???

There's new worlds in KH2 including some of the old ones. There's also Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories for the GBA. The Rescuers might appear in that. Anything's possible.

i really dont expect new disney worlds in the next game nor do i expect new Disney characters. it would have a world in which the rescuers characters will appear. mostly if there are new worlds, it would have to be that Sora and the gang would have to go back in time to save the worlds before they are taken over by the heartless.

Well the game is taking on a darker tone from what's been said and pictures that have been released. It could be possible that we might just get a number of Characters but that the setting of the game will not be totally Disney oriented. One of the creators said that there will be new Disney worlds and some original ones. That said this is Disney's game predominantly and it will still most likely be very Disney just not as much as the Previous game and in a different way.

Also you can search for a video titled "Kingdom Hearts Deep Dive" on any file sharing program. It's a movie that was on the Japanese re-released version of the game. It's pretty much a trailer for the new game. It shows a glimpse of a hooded Jedi-ish Mickey it's pretty cool .

that Jedi-ish Mickey looks really strange like that. i wonder if Mickey is going to be in Sora's party?

I have a Star Wars Weekends T-Shirt from the Disney/MGM Studios and it has Yoda with his lightsaber and Mickey in a Jedi robe with a lightsaber, maybe the game guys got thier idea from there or vice versa? It's a cool shirt, either way.
