I had an awesome dream... (about Disney Platinum Editions)

It was at the end of the Platinum Series... witch ends in 2007 right? Well anyhow, at the beginning of 2008 Disney announced it would re-release all the previous Platinum Editions (for about a month I think) for a chance for everyone to complete their collections.
I wish they would do this in real life.

That would be my chance to get Snow White and Beauty and the Beast. THE ONLY 2 IM MISSING!!!
(also in my dream, they had come out with Special Editions of Hunchback, and Hercules.

)

Don't worry. "Never" in Disney-speak doesn't necessarily mean more than "not for the next few years". The ones you're missing have been gone for a while now, and they will be available again within a resonable number of years.

Considering that SnowWhite has been away for about six years, I think she'l come again in 2008.
Belle may come a little later.

What an unusual thing for a dream. I think, like most people say, that they will re-release some DVDs especially the Platinum Edition ones. It would be great if your dream will come true considering the fact that both Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty and the Beast are one of the best Platinum Edition DVDs. I think it's also possible for The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules getting Special Editions. They desperately have to be Special Editions.

Well, given that MANY DVD buyers will have missed out on Snow White - given it was released 5 years ago, before DVD was MEGAHUGE - I wouldn't be surprised if they release it again to cash in on the success of the format before it goes the way of the video tape.
Let's face it - some studios still release VHS now: so even when Blu Ray comes out, and the line is re-released on that format, it isn't inconceivable that the Platinums will be reissued as DVDs again.

Then I hope they'd come up with interesting extras for those titles that never had extras before.

I actually had a dream a few days ago about someone leaving a Mickey Mouse in Living Color vol. 1 at my work and I was so happy because I was sure they wouldn't come back or I could at least watch it before they did...but then I woke up and I still don't have it...

I had a Platinum Edition's DVD dream aswell recently! It was a couple of weeks ago and Lady and the Tramp had just been released on DVD in Australia. And it was the 7th DVD in the Platinum Range, or Masterpiece Range as it's called in Aussie. And because there is pressumably going to be 14 Editions released, I had a dream they released a half-way Platinum Edition's boxset, with all the seven first P.E's.
It was awesome! Even though I own them all, except for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, even still I have a 100% quality copy of it! It was still a cool dream though.
I hope they do release a Platinum Boxset, with all DVD's in it.

It seems that Disney marketing succeeded well in making their products appear really special, then!

That would cost a lot of money! But it would be really cool.

I'm always selling Beauty and the Beast and Snow White on DVD.
Both sets are $40 with shipping or your better price.

I had a vivid dream last week that Disney had released a 2-disc special edition of The Aristocats. I was looking at the Amazon listing and everything. Alas, it will probably remain just a dream.

Belle may come a little later.
Can we rephrase that?
