Oh man, Loomis just pulled a Pals on Pals! Good show, mate!
And to add something of worth, thanks for the head's up, Dave. Though, truth be told, I'm not sure if there's anything I need since the last $5.88 Disney sale.

by so it goes
I put in two orders earlier today:
DDMGD002027D WOODY ALLEN COLLECTION (5 DISCS) 1 $33.10
DDMGD001750D WOODY ALLEN COLLECTION 3 1 $42.18
Order Total: $75.28
DDPRD006617D THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH 1 $4.79
DDMGD002063D THE MISFITS 1 $4.79
DDBVD017249D CELEBRITY 1 $5.08
DDMCA020510D ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT 1 $7.58
Order Total: $22.24
Almost $100. But I'll actually be pretty close to a complete Woody Allen collection now, probably about 8 left to get... I have been planning for this sale but expected it later in the month or July so I was caught a bit off guard to find in on today. Even with getting a large check this week, this sale (the first order was on a credit card though, not debit), father's day, and saving for a vacation have pretty much wiped me out, which sucks because there were some other things I was really hoping to get in the next few weeks but probably won't be able to. Oh well, whatever, maybe in the future.
Thank you DaveWadding for posting this, because, today I came to UD first (opposed to dvdtalk which I have been addicted to lately, to the dismay of my check book). So you and UD broke the news of this sale to me! Awesome!

How reliable is this online store? I've heard stories...here to be exact...
I think I might try and get the Black Cauldron and maybe some other DACs if I'm sure I won't have identity theft or wait "6-8 weeks" for the package.

I use them alot. Never had a problem. Most of the people who have had problems here are international posters, and I cant really vouch for that.

Excellent! Been looking for a good price on those for a while, so I might take the opportunity to purchase. If I can be bothered.

Any company that doesn't accept money order or C.O.D. is not worthy of my business. You all know how I feel about the 'internet highway' and I am not about to put a credit card number out there to get hacked into again. Those that do are just playing with fire and will one day get burned. Sorry, that is just me, and I will never again use a credit card on line. I only deal with those who accept money orders, or will "trust" a person and ship C.O.D.

I've (touch wood) never been 'hacked' on line, and the only (big - $3000) incidence of fraud seemingly resulted from someone going through the complex hacking of my letter box and stealing a bank statement.
At any rate, I'm sure DeepDiscountDVD is now hurting at the lack of your business

Seriously though, fewer places are accepting cheques and money orders, simply because of financial charges. Money orders probably not so much, but for the MOST part, internet transactions are safe unless you go with someone unreliable. However, as you point out, there are always exceptions to the rule.
