I usually buy the CDs for the sountracks I like, but sometimes I just want one song. Does anyone know of a good Disney music mp3 website?

I'm sure you can find them on Kazaa, although I have never tried there myself.

Downloading a few songs from Kazaa is not a big deal.
Downloading 850 songs from Kazaa could very well be a big deal.

As long as you disable people sharing your own files, you should be okay on Kazaa. That's how the RIAA is finding its current lawsuit victims anyway. (*Grumble*) And, of course, it is always good advice to not download too much and draw attention to yourself.

Kazaa doesn't owe anyone anything. They have a program that enables people to share files with one another. The entire Internet is based around that concept. What people choose to share on it is another matter.

The problem is, the record companies and your RIAA have been going after individuals, thinking this will somehow recoup the costs.

The thing is, music listening habits have changed, and now record companies are trying to sue you for NOT buying their music. Sure, mp3 file trading is essentially illegal (or at least, the copying part of it is). But so was cassette tape trading. Why is this any different?

But in essence, Kazaa can't be prosecuted (as opposed to Napster, which actually kept a database of files and users, and dealt soley with mp3s). Individuals can. So get Kazaalite which is RIAA-proof (apparently). And turn off sharing, as Natalie says.
