Comic Convention 2005 - Disney Princesses LOL!

I was looking for various Disney videos on You Tube and I stumbled upon this video from the Comic Convention in 2005 at San Diego. I've never been to a comic convention, but from what I heard its usually filled with fans dresses in very elaborate costumes of comic book characters. I was surprised to see that the Disney Princesses and a few of the Disney Heroes had showed up. They payed tribute to the confusion of the definition of a "Disney Princess" in this quick little skit and parody of Aqua's "Barbie Girl." It was very funny, check it out, but be prepared for some bad acting, hehe...

I surfed and found a link to a picture of the fans posing with there award and a Tinker Bell doll. It's easier to see the fantastic costumes.

That was great.

But who was the guy in the grey and black-striped suit with the red cape, and what has he done with our Princess Jasmine?

At first I was thinking he was Shang, but then realized he must be Shan Yu, which was a little out of place. I didn't even notice that Jasmine was missing until you pointed that out!

He's wearing the Emperor's army uniform, but has a furry hat so I guess he's doing double duty? This guy is really creepy...

There's a lot more pics where that came from (the site is by the girl who played Belle):

Also, it says in the comments below the YouTube video that the girl who was to be Jasmine broke her leg and couldn't be in the skit.

too bad...

That was pretty funny, though I'd love to see
THIS made into a skit.

Quite funny, and it began an hours-long YouTube exploration for me.

It was! Escapay taped it because my cousin was in at my high school. The skit was part of a collection of comedy and drama skits directed by two seniors. I don't know if she'll let us post it on the internet though. It turned out to be a HILARIOUS production and was the highlight of the evening!
Lol, me too, Aaron! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

First of all, I'm sure some of you have already seen this, but felt like posting it since I like it so much. If it was already posted my bad.
Anyways, some girls dressed up as the Disney Princesses, created a skit and this is the end results:
At least my husband didn't marry sushi!
The skit has some great lines and some really funny moments.
