I'e had a question fore some time, so maybe someone can help me. What exactly is a collectors laser disc? Also haw do you get them? I have searched through the internet (and stores) and no sign of them. Are they bootlegged or something?

Laserdisc is a video format that came out before DVDs. They are a 12 inch disc, about the size of a record, and look like a large CD. They could hold up to an hour of video per side. Disney produced several large collector box sets in this format that contained a ton of extras and usually some other goodies such as CD soundtracks, hardback books or lithographs. They retailed usually for $100 each.

They are not bootlegs, and you need a Laserdisc player in order to play them.

They are exactly like LP records.

You could find both players and discs at a realy nice price on Ebay.
