Does anyone own the sountrack to the Beauty and the Beast sequel (the Enchanted Christmas)? Would you recommend it? It is selling for $10 on amazon.com and I'm tempted. I know the film was *blah* but all the film talent returned to voice the sequel so I'm thinking it might be a good soundtrack. . .

BUY IT!!!!!

I really cannot stress this enough. I got it for Christmas on cassette a few years back, and I haven't listened to any other album as much.

I know-the only really good songs from the film are "Deck the Halls" "Stories" and "As Long as There's Christmas", but on the CD you get the end title track "As Long as There's Christmas" by Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack, and Paige O'Hara sings a variety of traditional Christmas carols.

My personal favourites are The First Noel and What Child is This?

Thanks Adam! You have convinced me. That sounds pretty cool. I like the idea of listening to Belle (Paige O'Hara) sing classical christmas songs.

I hope I can find this cd at local stores. I don't want to pay shipping on amazon. Of course, if i do end up paying for shipping I'll be forced to buy like a DVD in addition to justify the price. AUGHH!! the viscious cycle continues. . .

I totally agree with the sentiments above! This is a great CD! I have had it for several years now and really enjoy it. I bought it when the Enchanted Christmas vhs came out then later upgraded to DVD. It is one of my favorite Disney Christmas stories and would not call it blah at all. I think you will be very pleased with the CD. My favorite tune is As Long as There's Christmas. Paige O'Hara has a beautiful voice.

I've got the CD and it's worth it. There's more songs on it than are on the movie.

I own it, I got it last year because I couldn't find it in stores. It's a good cd, with great vocals.

If you can't find it on amazon.com, you might want to try Barnes & Noble.com or besy buy.com, you might have better luck there.

Its a great soundtrack! Makes a wonderful addition to the music I listen to at the holiday season & once ina while year round too...nothing like Disney & Christmas put together-two of a few of my favorite things! :-)

I've always wanted this soundtrack, but I can't ever find it. I guess I'll just have to order it. *sigh*
