My what happend here?! I know it was this past December that these so called "Treasures" were released but how can you call them treasures when all the cartoons have lousy restoration on them? I mean seriously people think about it. The past 4 waves had supereb restoration, but what makes these waves different from the others? I guess the bad folks at the mouse house were lazy. Well thats(probably) the last time I buy these treasures unless Disney decideds to get to work and make collectors happy. Furthermore, what would Wat himself think? I bet he made a revolution in his grave when these DVD's came out.

In Conclusion, Robert Iger isin't doing a good job as CEO and president at the Walt Disney Company. He needs to leave and let sombody else take over. Someone who isint a coward(and thereby having Song of the South being released on DVD in the U.S) and most importantly someone who isint lazy. Mr.Disney It's pathetic what's going on at your studio since you passed on!

I must admit that the state of the cartoons in last year's Treasures weren't all that great, with the Donald collection looking the roughest. A lot of the Rarities looked better, but I think that a lot of those shorts came from old TV or video masters, as when one watches them on a PC, there is some motion blur. The only none "because they're lazy" reason for what happened is that they accidently used the wrong transfers.

On your thoughts of Iger, I think that you're being a bit too harsh. Sure, the Song of the South incident is a bit of a bummer, but when you consider that he's trying to get Disney back to goodness, and he has to some extent, since he got Lasseter over to Disney and 2D animation is now a possibility (I heard at Animated News that Ron Clements and John Musker are making a traditional animated short, and John Lasseter has said that he wants to get traditional animation back alongside the CGI production). So, don't get too wingey.

This has indeed been discussed at some length earlier, and most of those who care about quality were dissatisfied with what Disney did to last year's cartoon Treasures compared to the rather high level we've come to expect based on the earlier Treasures, although there were somewhat differing opinions as to exactly how bad it was. Anyway, it seems very strange that something like this could be an "accident"... If someone "on the inside" listened back then, they really ought to know now that fans weren't happy and that they (WDT) should shape up.
