I'm seeing it on Friday. I might see it with my 4 1/2 year old niece on opening day depending on if she needs to nap and if her younger sister takes a really long nap. Otherwise, I'll be seeing it by myself and then take her on the Sunday of the weekend it opens.
Raccoons are one of my favorite animals (I LOVE MEEKO from Pocahontas) so I'll love seeing the character RJ the Raccoon voiced by Bruce Willis.

Well I originally wasn't interested in seeing this, but my ever since a talk with ichabod in the Chat Room, I'm more excited about this than "Cars".

Though this is going to be made by Dreamwork Animation instead of PDI Dreamworks so I'm kinda nervous about this one.
Well I'll probably see it in theaters, which I haven't done for any Dreamworks Animation film(including PDI) since Shrek 2.

I will definately not see it.

If it is anyway like Madagascar or Shrek 2, or Shark Tale, there is just no way I can be tormented again.

I think Over The Hedge will do better than Shark Tale in the worldwide box office. It may not reach Madagascar, though.
Based on the trailers and clips, I'll definitely watch this one!

I will not be seeing this, nor do I have any urge to.
And I also notice that all of those snippets posted are titled "reviews" when they should be titled "good reviews" as I'm posostive there are negative ones.

It looks cute! I love anything that satirizes the suburban lifestyle. I don't go to movies that much anymore, but I'll definitely see this.

Well, got it from Netflix today and finished seeing it a first time, I'll say it as bluntly as possible:
IT'S LIKE 10 TIMES BETTER THAN CARS AT LEAST!!!
Definitely a huge improvement over crap like Shrek 2 and Shark Tale and Madagascar(for the record, I enjoyed Madagascar, but I saw it's flaws and didn't think it was say a masterpiece) to say the least. But now, for detailed comparisons to Cars.
Animation-wise: Well, Cars definitely beats OTH, I'll give it that, but OTH really looked good here I thought. Some beautiful scenery.
Story-wise: Definitely OTH. Cars was basically "Toy Story 2: With Cars" and just felt like your typical Pixar film. OTH, was wonderfully adapted on a comic, with loads of unexpected laughs. Predictable near both the middle and the end though I'll admit, but what film isn't these days?
Character-wise: Compared to OTH, Cars just had a bunch of 1-dimensional characters. That said, I liked the ones in Cars quite a bit, but OTH just had ones much more memorable and likeable with much more character-development.
Voice-wise: Over The Hedge. While it's hard to beat Paul Newman, Gary Shandling and Steve Carell top Owen Wilson and Larry The Cable Guy I say.
Music-wise: Cars, mainly for it's awesome soundtrack(subtracting it's score). Over the Hedge had nothing memorable I'll admit.
So overall, I thought Over The Hdege was a lot of awesome fun, and now ranks as my favorite animated Dreamworks film(sans Aardman).
And yes:
OVER THE HEDGE FOR THE 6th WINNER OF THE BEST ANIMATED FILM OSCAR.

MMO is so gonna kill you, Justin!
I've been hearing *a lot* of good things about OTH, so I may give it a blindbuy, though I'll either wait for a good used one at $9.99 or for Black Friday, whichever has the better price.
BTW, I was at a local video store and saw they had Cars DVDs out two weeks early. Would've bought it, except they were $24.95 and I'd rather get the Wal-Mart one with the bonus disc (the things I do for "Life is a Highway"...)

Nah, I won't waste my time. It's no surprise that Timon/Pumbaa fan would say that, considering that he dislikes Pixar, and will not admit that they make some damn great films. I won't even go into all of it, but, I'm not surprised that he would say this about
Over the Hedge.
My Sister actually picked it up for my nephew, as a Christmas gift. I told her that I hadn't seen it, yet. I intend to buy it, as I've heard a lot of good things about it, but, I HIGHLY doubt it's better than
Cars.
I can't believe you had
Cars staring you in the face, and didn't pick it up, Escapay! I mean, I understand wanting to wait, and buy it at a better price, with the Bonus DVD from Wal-Mart. However, I don't think I would have had as much willpower as you!
