Hi, i'm very interrested in knowing more about the french "Edition Collector" DVD's. They are SOO beautiful... wau... so I have a few questions before I buy them...Hope some of you disney fans from France can help me out here...
1) I'm thinking about buying them off ebay, and I dont speak french, so what do "neuf sous blister" mean? does it mean that it is plastic shrink wrapped?
2) Also are all the "edition exclusive" or "edition Collector" digipacks? How many of the classics are digipack editions? TheLion king
3) Does the French Disney classics have both original english soundtrack and french or only french, also on the bonus discs?
Thanks in advance...

Here we go...
1) "Neuf sous blister" does mean that it is new and shrink wrapped.
2) No, not all the Collector's Editions are digipack, especially among the latest releases. The Lion King's Exclusive Edition (not Collector's Edition) is a digipack.
3) English and French soundtracks are both inlcuded on the DVDs, although the DTS track (where available) is only in French. The extra features discs can be viewed in English or in French, as you can choose a Language right for the first menu.

Beauty And The Beast Disc 2 (bonus disc) of the Version Intégrale is only in french. There's no option to change the language.

I've just checked : there's indeed no English optional here but you can choose between French and Dutch.
It's weird that you can't choose English, because, as far as I remember, on the other sets, you can choose between English and French. The Snow White CE even has (if you select English) the introduction of the contents of the DVD by Angela Lansbury, which is the same segments as in the UK and US sets (because in french, we have a local personnality presenting the content). and on other sets like Peter Pan, you can still choose a menu in english and the feaures will be subtitled in English (if the language's in french or optional subtitle in french if the language is in english). The difference with Beauty and the Beast and Snow White (this is the reason why the menu was different according to the language you select and why the content presentation was not done by the same person), the features are dubbbed in French and not subtitled (interviews, featurettes...).
