Do you ever have pet animals? If so, what are they and what are their names? Tell something about your pet/s.

Me, I have 2 Chihuahuas (male and female)
Male's Name: Spike
Female's Name: Hershey
They have two puppies named Billy and Mandy.

Spike guards our house(even though how little he can be)...he barks at strangers but when stranger gets closer, he would run away the backyard.

Hershey is nothing but lovely and nice. She's so nice that she wouldn't bark nor bite.

Billy and Mandy are both playful. Billy looks like one of the Gremlins. Mandy is beautiful like an angel.

We have two cats, Scully and Mittens (pictured below).

Both cats were dumped on us. Scully was left on our front law when she was less than three months old, and the other one came to us as a newborn when the "parents" had more kittens than they bargained for. You couldn't find cats more different than this: Scully is typically laid back, with very little phasing her. She does get a little "meowy" in the mornings. Mittens is a little more uptight, and tends to be a little more bitey and scratchy.

That's Scully, the oldest, on the right in the basket and the other cat is Mittens (because she'd make a fine pair of them).

As much as I love cats, I have two of them.

Spooky - Spooky is a male, black cat. He comes in every once and a while and begs food alot. I dunno, but he reiminds me of my little sister (She ate junkfood at a wrong time). The downside is his attitude towards Shy, a female cat. He hates the way she interacts with him.

Shy - Shy is a fixed female cat with darkish gray and white on the lower part through her face. As a term "fix", means she doesn't produce kittens. She also likes to pounce on something that is on the surface. Oh well, she's my favorite cat.

I like dogs too, but I prefer cats in anyway. That dosen't mean that I don't hate dogs the way I liked the animal fims such as "The Adventures of Milo and Oatis", "Lady and the Tramp", "All Dogs Go To Heaven", and the list goes on. It's a matter of allergies in which one of my family members is alergic to.

Can you guess which names my husband chose?

Bailey is a black female and I named her.

Rocky is an orange tabby. My hubby felt he needed a "manly" name. We got both of them from a shelter.

Rambo is a black cat from a local pet shop. My hubby was playing with him and he reached up and licked his nose so he came home with us. Again...a "manly" name was needed.

Stone is from a friend. He's a black tabby with calico coloring in him. I'm not sure how he came up with that name.

Beezley was rescued by our vet from an ice storm as a kitten. He got frost bite on his eyes so he's blind. He was already named.

My hubby wanted a tough name for our dog. However, Spike is such a sweetie. His name is not fitting. He looks like a very short German Shepard. He weighs over 100 pounds. He's a brute, but so lovable. My father-in-law has his sister(Angel) and she's the opposite...very small.

We thought Chester was a male(that's what the pet shop told us). After we got Skeeter & Jagger(both males) we realized Chester was a girl. I picked her name and since she already answered to it she kept it. Only now it's Chester Sue. The other two were already named.

No more pets for us for a long time. I love my pets and hope to have them around for a long time.

That's cool, Davina. I can understand what it's like to have so many pets at one.. our record is 28 cats. Granted, all cats isn't as much work as having cats, dogs, ferrets, etc. under one roof. But-28! My parents thought they were going to lose their minds.

I have a few fish and two dogs. My oldest dog, Sox, is a chow mix. She is black with white feet. I rescued her 10 years ago from the animal shelter.

My other dog, Toby, is some kind of hound mix. He is white with brown spots and patches. He also doesn't have a tail. I got him from my aunt almost 2 years ago. She had a stray dog hanging around her house for a year, and that dog had four puppies. Toby was the only male in the litter, so I took him home with me. My best friend took one, another one got hit by a car, and the last one was shot and killed by my aunt's neighbor. I guess you can say I rescued him too.

I have one cat. And he has been my family's only pet. His name is Roger. He's a fat, orange and white, and is an American Short-Hair. He is mostly white on his legs and the bottom of this tummy, and orange on the rest of his body, including his tail. We didn't actually get Roger, he found us. Yes, he was a stray cat and we took him in. How nice is my family? I actually named him, and I don't know why that his name had to stay Roger. Roger has many nicknames. Here are a few:

Roge (like how you would say Roger, but without saying the r)
Fluffy
Kitty
Kitty-Poops
Poops
Fluffy Bear
Kitty Bear
Fatty
Fat Poops
Fat Kitty Poops
Kitty Roger Fluffy Bear

and the list goes on...............

We have 4 cats and 2 dogs.

Dogs:

KC - Male - Golden Retreiver. Very loveable dog.
Mia - female - Black lab / chocolate lab mix - very hyper

Cats:

Buddy - Male - black cat - very creepy - often looks possessed
Bobby - Male - dark brown, light brown and white coloring (this one's my baby)
Billy - Male - same color combos as Bobby though a lot more white
Thortan - female - all different shades of brown

One of our cats that has since passed away gave birth to the ones we still have and we thought Thortan was a boy when we named them and when we realized that she was a girl she already knew her name so we kept it.

I have a male Guinea Pig named Tink who squeaks alot and is fat, even for a pig. It's name was Tinkerbell because the guy at PetSmart said it was a girl, but when I took it to the vet when he was sick, I found out it was a he, and shortened the name to make it more manly for him.

I have a female dog who's a Miniture Pinscher named Harley. She's 11 months old and full of energy. She has to be the center of attention all the time, she just finished chewing my hand because I was typing instead of petting her. She is my everything and sometimes I don't know what I'd do with out her, we are attached at the hip.
My family also has 2 pugs, one of each sex, although they don't live with me I am the owner of the male. His name is Brutus, he's stubborn and a pain in my butt.

Here's my cat, Minnie or Minni (We don't know how to spell it. I prefer the former considering my love for Disney)

Image

Well the story behind her is odd. We didn't find her, she found us. We found out she was out next door neighbor's cat, but they had gotten a dog recently and she of course was scared to death of it and left their house. She jumped the fence, which was really odd considering she's pretty old, and came into our yard which had no dog and no pool like they did. We ofcourse told the neighbors and they didn't seem to care if they got her back or not so basically she's been ours for over a year now, unofficially. lol. Since I live in Houston, you may remember that whole big Rita evacuation. Minnie ofcourse is an outside cat and we ofcourse didnt know how to keep her safe, she's not litter trained so we couldn't keep her in the house. So we went to the neighbor's to see if they could keep her, and they thought she was dead!! And they still didn't care much so we kept the poor thing in the garage. Luckily though Rita missed us... largely. lol.

If you are wondering where I got the names of my pets, it's pretty easy:

Spike comes from the name of the dog in Tom and Jerry

Hershey comes from that yummy chocolates

Billy and Mandy of course, come from the two kids in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

We have two dogs, both fixed females. One is totally black and she is a Bijon-Poodle mix and her name is Lady. She is spoiled rotten, not totally mind you, just mostly. The other is a Cocker Spaniel/Jack Russell mix, and as weird looking as she is, she is still my Princess. From the front shoulders forward she looks like a Cocker Spaniel, from the front shoulders back she is all Jack Russell, except for her tail which we had bobbed when she was born.

Also have an absolutely beautiful Nanday Conure Parrot, since we are in Kansas it is against the rules to name your dog Toto, so I named my parrot Prince Toto. I have had him since birth, his birth not mine, and he talks and has a vocabulary of 59 words and statements. He is very fun to have around, and also is mostly spoiled. I have taught him to say, in reply to that inevitable question "Can You Talk??", his reply is "Can You Fly?", and he rarely misses a beat with that reply. He ruffles his feathers and flaps his wings and hangs upside down for a few seconds. It is always good for a laugh.

Those are my pets, well actually the dogs are my wife's, and the bird is mine.
