What DVD to get?

For ordering Lion King from Best Buy, I get $5 on a Disney DVD from a list. I'm choosing between 3 of them. Which one should I get out of these?
1. Hunchback of Notre Dame
2. Robin Hood
3. The newest Bug's Life release. For this one, I have the original Bug's life DVD that doesnt have many features. I really don't care much for the features unless someone says the extras are really good. Is the actual video quality on this version much different?

I like the first two movies, but not as much as "the best of Disney" - A Bug's Life I enjoy much more than the others, and the set is very good. Lots of great extras and the CE is anamorphic, whereas the disc you have is not. Honestly, the disc you have looks and sounds pretty flawless, in spite of not being enhanced for 16x9 television sets. The extras are a lot of fun, though...and I'd certainly recommend upgrading to that rather than buying the other two. As a movie and as a DVD, it's the better choice.
But if you decide to go with one of the others that you don't own...while Hunchback is the better choice, get Robin Hood and then send away for a free Hunchback with Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal...assuming you are buying another Disney DVD by the end of the year - Nemo, Sleeping Beauty, Treasures, etc.
You can't really lose.

I would pick Robin Hood mainly b/c i am not too crazy about hunchback. Robin Hood is one of my favorite feel good and have fun animated films. Of course if you'd prefer the darker more artistic/creative side of disney, then go for hunchback. But both films are must haves anyway..

Even though Hunchback is by far my favorite of those three, I recommend getting A Bug's Life because that's the definitive edition of the film on DVD. For Hunchback a 2-disc special edition seems VERY likely down the road, and since you don't care much about extras, you'll at least be interested to know that Hunchback will probably get a new transfer if (more like when) it goes 2-disc. As for Robin Hood, that's up in the air. I like Robin Hood quite a bit, and from what I hear, the current disc has excellent A/V quality, but I don't know if that'll go 2-disc or not. If it doesn't, be assured that Robin will be easy to find in stores whenever you do decide to purchase it.

Go for the Bug's Life double dip and experience the definitive Pixar Super Genius Edition. Even for those who don't care for extras, these extras rock. Everything -- and I do mean EVERYTHING -- about the making of the film is covered somewhere on these discs. Plus, it has the anamorphic transfer. One of the best DVDs I own.

PIXAR fan as I am, "A bug's life" gets my vote I only have the dvd without the many features, and here in belgium I can't find the 2-disc dvd

If you doubt between hunchback and robin hood, I'd go for the hunchback

Take one of those that you do not have. Then you can upgrade the Bugs life DVD later if you want to.
Why get a DVD that you already have when you can get one that you do not have at all.

i would get a bug's life since it is a 2-disc DVD and it is worth it with all the special features.
