Disney is going to air a spinoff series of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody". It's gonig to focus on the character of Arwin the handyman who moves in with his sister to take care of her kids.

Well, "Suite Life" isn't a bad show, but as I mentioned in my Disney Channel Holiday review, that Arwin guy needs to be kept in moderation. A whole show around him? Maybe I'm in the minority, but that doesn't sound promising.

Yeah- I'm all for more "Suite Life," as it's by far the best show The Disney Channel's currently producting, but this premise sounds like a stretch. I'll give it a chance, of course, especially since we haven't seen where TDC is going with this DCOS spin-off mania, but I'd rather have an extension of "Suite Life"'s 65 episodes first (which may still happen anyways).

I couldn't handle a whole show with Arwin, either. But, I'm sure the writers will structure it similar to SL in telling different, but related, stories from a group of characters' POV. I've seen episodes of SL with very little "Zack and Cody" and very much London and Maddie.
I'm curious to see wheter or not they recycle material. This would be a good opportunity for that (especially for these writers).

Arwin is my least favorite character on "The Suite Life." This concept sounds basically like a set-up for disaster. DC's newest show, Hannah Montana, is utter garbage. DC really needs to improve their DCOS writing team. Even The Suite Life is beggining to go the Raven route, where it's first one or two seasons are good, but then soon becomes rediculous, un-funny, nonsense. The Suite Life hasn't gone completely under, but if one were to watch the first 4 or so episodes as compared to the more recent ones, they would definitley notice a significant drop in quality. I was watching an episode of Even Stevens the other night, and I felt so sad to see what has become of DCOS's as we know them.

If Hanna Montana got a high 6.5 million viewers on it's first episode so can The Suite Life spin-off if they put it in a decent time slot.
The Suite Life reminds me of Gilmore Girls but with twin sons minus Luke.

I also don't see this spin-off going anywhere. I'd rather see a spin-off somehow focusing on Maddie and her friends at her catholic school. London could somehow end up going there and that would continue their chemistry.
I really think Arwin, while being funny at times (and waaaay more bearable than Esteban), his character is a little overplayed at times.
But if The Emperor's New School, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, and Dave The Barbarian can be made, then there may be hope for this...

This might be interesting....I kinda like Arwin....
I wonder if he'll end up marrying/hooking up with Carey? (gotta be honest though, I see her more with Moseby than with Arwin)

Ok, the idea for the Suite Life spinoff SUCKS. um.....how about NO!
Sorry, but Arwen is my least favorite character and a whole show for him.... i just dont know. I would'nt watch it.
But..the second show, "The Amazing Hannigans," sounds very interesting. Im hoping this one does well, you know how kids are with magic. They love it. Im sure it will do well

I dunno...are we getting something like The Torkelsons again?
Arwin is funny, but his jokes for the show are probably the most corny and cliched. I think he's a find supporting character for The Suite Life, but I don't think I could stand a whole show with him. I would rather watch a show about Esteban's family than Arwin. I think he's so much funnier and there's a lot of potential for somewhat original comedy for Esteban and it would be a good way to add a little cultural mix to Disney Channel's line up.
I think the success of this spin off will have to rely on the writing and acting of his sister and her children. Do we know who will be playing them yet?

The character least likely to get a spin-off on Suite Life...and he gets one.
Rather than spread themselves too thin with a new show, why not try and work on making Suite Life less of a cartoon? That is...less of a farfetched show than it already is. I could buy the fact that you've got twins of the hotel lounge singer living in a hotel. I could buy the fact that one of them has a crush on the candy girl. I could buy the fact that the heiress is a send-up/parody/satire/whathaveyou of Paris Hilton (and IMO, much more bearable!). But the past few episodes have been one all-too-crazy idea after another. It's like the "fun" and the "craziness" has taken over and there's no room for character development. The show's gotten stale in such a short amount of time. Zach tormenting Cody is getting stale. Zach having a crush on Maddie is getting stale. London being stupid is getting stale. Cody being such a lovable loser is getting stale. Moseby being...Moseby is getting stale. Give these characters an edge! Have them explore other facets of their personalities! Do something to shake up the series! What if the Tipton was bought out by another company? What if London suddenly ends up poor and having to work at the candy stand? What if Carey started dating someone? What if Cody actually stopped being such a lovable loser and actually grew a backbone? What if Zach started taking school seriously? There's so many possibilities as to how to better the show.
Then again, it's a DCOS, not Masterpiece Theatre...
BTW, whatever happened to Muriel, Max, and Tapeworm?
