I thought this was big enough news to warrant it's own thread. Of course, I'm 99.9% certain the same supplements will be on the R1 release, but being as hardly anyone from the States visits this forum, this can be our special secret. :)

Disneyland Pirates show eh? Over 20 mins of deleted scenes. Plus, we get a Japanese TV Spot. How cool is that? (Clue: Very) No sign of US/UK trailers of tv spots though. :(

Thanks for the info - there's got to be some reason behind the lack of trailers on 90% of Disney's films these days. It's an upsetting trend...but at least this sounds like it will have substance. Maybe the PG-13 rating is good in that regard; no set top games or sing-alongs.

that's weird the publicity that Disney is using is: over 10 hours of bonus material! I wonder if they're going to pull another Lion King Marketing Stunt!?

It has at least 3 commentary tracks doesn't it? That's another 6 hours (give or take) and perhaps disc 1 will also contain another hours worth of content.

Yes, the Region 1 DVD contains three commentary tracks. Seeing as this is a 2 1/2 hour movie, that's...roughly 7.5 hours of content right there plus the three hours this BBFC passing promises...does indeed mean 10 hours. Exellent.

However, the lack of trailers is extreamely disappointing here - the teaser trailer is one of the coolest teasers I've ever seen, and the final trailer is what really sold me on being there for it at the very first showing.
