According to Wikipedia, Butch Hartman himself said Nick will stop production soon on both The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom. I heard the series finale of The Fairly OddParents is to be the 3rd and final Jimmy Neutron crossover: Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinators. That is all I do know thou so does anyone else know anything about Nickelodeon leting go such amazing shows?

It's easy Nick prefers shows like Zoey 101, Josh & Drake and Romeo...which are all horrible!!!! :x

The thing that bothers me about this news, sometimes a show is best killed when it's on fire, is that Spongebob Squarepants is on DVD in season sets before the show is over, ended, canceled. But Fairly Odd Parents just continues to flounder with these bs compilation DVDs that are too expensive and don't give viewers enough for their hard-earned dollar. It's morbid in the face of our poor, suffering country. And really just lends itself to the more upper-middle-class families who don't prescreen what they buy for their kids, just buy to shut their kids up from screaming in WalMart - not for people who really think the show is great, funny, ahead of it's time, or really admire it for it's virtues. Before it's damn over, I'd like to see a season set or two. It's long overdue!!

Well, I personally think Fairly Odd Parents ran its run, and it ran a great one. However, the newer episodes have over-done the kind of humor that made the show great. Danny Phantom, also was good at first, but then they had to go a make all of these complicated side plots. It's just too much. And btw, I love Spongebob!

Its bad to see Fairly Oddparents go. Wasn't there suppose to be a movie at one time!? I've never really been a fan of Danny Phantom.

It will be sad to see them go. Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom are two of my favorite toons on Nick right now. (The other two being Jimmy Neutron and of course SpongeBob).

I think Danny Phantom is going to have a proper ending and everything though, so that'll be good.

I'm pretty sure that Jimmy Neutron is getting cancelled too.

the fairly odd parents really funny it wasnt like dumb humor that would aim towards their prime audiance there was more mature adult humor kind of snuck in there.

zoey 101 sucks...

If the Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom and possibly Jimmy Neutron are getting cancelled, what is there going to be to watch on Nick...except Spongebob? Those are all really good shows!!

Danny Phantom never really got as much publicizing that it needed to get off the ground.

The Fairly Oddparents have been around awhile, but there's a reason for that.

And if Nick cancels Jimmy Neutron, I might cry. I love Sheen!!!!

Zoey 101 needs to go. It's like Lizzie McGuire on crack. And Jamie Lynn Spears couldn't act her way out of a friggin box! As for Drake and Josh, it was good at first, then the shows became monotonous (sp??).

And that Angry Beavers knock-off Catscratch will never be as good as it wants to be!!

Bring back The Wild Thornberries!!!!

They'll probably spend more time on that boring show Avatar. Nickelodeon isn't as good as it use to be.

Yep, they keep advertising Avatar as if it is the best thing ever, and it's far from that. I hope Nick can get there brains into gear and give us something good and new soon.

CANCEL SPONGEBOB!?
I find the show to be completely unfunny and a reason why Nickelodeon went to the dogs. Calling the characters dumb and stupid would be a compliment, they're far worse. It's almost as if I were transported into a twisted reality that would make me want to kill myself, come back to life, and kill myself again out of sheer agony of seeing what inane things they'd do next. If not for Spongebob, I'd hae some respect for what Nickelodeon's become these days. Yeah, I hate the show.

*sigh*, I miss the days of Pete & Pete, Clarissa, Doug, Aah Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Global Guts, Double Dare, Hey Arnold, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Angry Beavers, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, What Would You Do, the original All That, Space Cases, Alex Mack, Allen Strange, Animorphs, Figure it Out, and a few more, even Rugrats (early seasons when they were curious babies...not when they became really really dumb babies). Nickelodeon went under around the time that they got rid of Hey Arnold, stopped re-running Doug, and canned everyone on All That and brought a whole bunch of noobs in...

The current Nickelodeon is a joke nobody gets which makes it even worse.

I feel sorry for the 15 year olds and younger. They have NOOO earthly idea how great Nickelodeon was years ago before they were invaded by all these cartoons. The channel used to be balanced with live action and cartoons, if not more live action shows.

I wish I could just dig out the tapes I have and show the kids what Nick looked like over 10 years ago. I actually have some tapes from all the way back in 1983 when they had their old pinball logo before the current orange and white one. But I don't Nick from that far back. The 1990s were the best in my opinion, except You Can't Do That on Television was their signature show from the 1980s-early 90s before Rugrats and then SpongeBob. That was my all-time favorite show. Glad I have them on tape, but it's coming to DVD as whenever Viacom and Nickelodeon get their issues straightened out.
