Best Buy: $19.99
Disney Store: $19.99
Meijer: Couldn't find
K-Mart: Couldn't find
Circuit City: $13.99
Target: $15.98
I'm not totally sure if these are right. This was just the results of a very quick online search. (And Meijer and K-Mart didn't even mention it being for sale.)

I haven't found out anywhere else, will Chicken Little come in a slipcover? I'm trying to see if I need to buy it immediately (since slipcovers disappear fast). This is one that I didn't go see at the theater, but would like to have. Does anyone know?

How about prices of Justice League Season One, Batman Beyond Season One and The Ten Commandments 3 Disc Set 50th Anniversary?

by so it goes
We had some copy's at work that are going to be for sale and I don't think they had any slipcovers, so I am going to say no, Chicken Little does not have a slipcover. I could be wrong though, maybe some one else has some definate confirmation?
I saw Ten Commandments for $14.99 at Circuit City posted on the DVD Bargains forum over at DVDtalk.com, which a UD member was nice enough to point me in the direction of.

I couldn't imagine any new Disney release NOT having a slipcover - they've been on all of them recently (except for the cheapie releases).
Once the DVD review is posted here, we'll know for sure - I guess.

I did a search on the internet, and found the following information about packaging:
Extras and Packaging
Packaged in a plain Amray case, Chicken Little comes with an insert booklet that gives a navigational overview of the disc and its extras, as well as a small coupon booklet of "egg-cellent" (their pun, not mine) savings on related merchandise and even a product sample of the Nexcare Chicken Little waterproof bandages. This doesn't completely distract from the rather paltry lineup of extras, though.

It doesn't say anything about a slipcover

But that's kinda cool about the free bandaid. I can't wait to read UD's review of the DVD - hopefully it will come before the DVD is released so I don't have to worry about if there is or is not a slipcover.

Who cares about the slipcovers, all they are is an extra piece of cardboard that takes up space in the dvd collections and will eventully get ruined from all the wear and tear, they have the same picture as the box. I for one wish they would stop wasting their resources on the slipcovers.

My Wal-Mart had already put out Batman Beyond and Justice League! They usually do that some times. Batman Beyond was $19.98 and Justice League was $34.98. So the prices may be similar MickeyMousePal. The thing too about these releases were they aren't like the other DC Animated Series releases. Batman Beyond is slim, kind of like the Superman Animated Series Volumes except thinner. And Justice League was small than the average box set like the Batman Animated Series set.

Unfortunately, its gotten to where having a slipcover, or the lack thereof, will make or break the value (especially in a trade or sale- look at the difference in the Platinum series, you will get a lot more money for a Platinum that has a slipcover than without). I kind of like them, especially the ones with the raised embossing and detail. But hey....

Wally-Mart has it for 15.87, but no word on extra goodies.

I agree with DisneyPrincess. I've gotten used to the DVD's with the slipcovers on...they look better to me with them. Mine aren't showing much sign of wear and tear, if anything they protect the real casing. Also, they don't glare as much when you're taking a picture of the DVD (for selling on ebay or whatever). And they can do such cool things with them, that they can't with the real case, like embossing or holographic or glitter and such. I know it's frivilous, but I like it.....and if the DVD comes with one, I'm going to look for it at the stores until I find it with one. I am so glad for boards like this, because I would have never known Target had the holographic Harry Potter slipcover on my own.
