You can submit an idea for an idea for a special edition DVD.It can be one already released on DVD,or one that has not been released.Here's my idea.
Breakin'/Breakin' 2 SE 2-Pack
1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen(I think that's the OAR)
Dolby Digital tracks
Audio commentary
Deleted scenes
Featurettes
Photo and publicity galleries
Theatrical trailers
DVD-ROM

Ooh, this is always fun. I'll do the two non-Disney movies I feel desperately need them the most: the Harry Potter films. (Similar specs for both:)
* DIRECTOR'S CUT OF THE FILM (!!!)
* Audio Commentary with Director Chris Columbus and the trio (Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint)
* Audio Commentary with Screenwriter Steve Kloves and author J.K. Rowling
* Music-Only Track
* In-Depth "Making of" Documentary
* Screen Tests
* CGI tests
* Blooper Reels
* Concept Art Galleries with Commentary by the artists and/or J.K. Rowling
* Blue Screen to Final Film Composite Comparison (preferably Quidditch match)
* Premiere Footage
* Theatrial Teasers, Trailers, and TV Spots
I'm telling you, I'd be the happiest person in the world if both of the films got this type of treatment. Take how excited I'll be when the Alice: SE comes out and crank it a notch or two and you'll get the idea. Excuse me, now, I'm creating a puddle of drool around me...

I'll go one step better.
Here are two films that deserve CRITERION treatment:
Bottle Rocket
The Power of One

Awesome movie! "Did you see what he was wearing?" "I know, it was pretty cool."
My Dinner with Andre deserves Criterion treatment, too.

You forgot the most important part of that title:
Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo
There are sooooo many, but...
I think something I've always wanted to see done is:
Blade Runner SE Collector's Ultimate Box Set
- US sneak preview (1982, very limited release in 1991)
- 1982 Theatrical Cut
- 1992 Directors Cut
- European/LD/!0th Anniversary cut (more violence)
- OAR on both
- Audio commentary on both editions by Ridley Scott (Harrison would be a nice bonus too, even Rutger Hauer!)
- Original making of
- Retro doco that has interviews with cast & crew
- Doco comparing two versions, and other cuts of the film
- Something on Philip K Dick: comparing the short story 'Black Box' to the novel 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' to the films
- Deleted scenes (there are a bunch apparently)
- Bonus book: Either a copy of 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' or 'Future Noir - The Making of BR' (Excellent book...).
- 1982 Theatrical trailers
- Directors Cut trailers
- Photo and publicity galleries
There was a rumour this was going to happen by the end of this year, but obvuiously that is not the case now.
I have the box set with the screenplay, 8 lobby cards, 35mm senitype and theatical poster. These would all be nice additions to any box set as well.
There are a few other things I'd like to see SEs for:
Dawn of the Dead, in particular. That would have to be a few discs as well, and would have to include the original US theatrical cut; the directors cut and the Dario Argento cut. It would also have to include the excellent Document of the Dead documentary.

My Special Edition DVD would be a multi-disc Apocalypse Now set.
Disc 1 - Film (Theatrical and "Redux" cuts, with seamless branching)
or put the Redux on Disc 2, and include commentary on both cuts.
Bonus Disc - Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse (1991 documentary)
And from the already released DVDs...
Theatrical Trailers
Destruction footage with commentary
I think any other studio would have done this long ago...but with Paramount, special features are always pulling teeth.

I'd just love that. Unfortunately, its Universal, so I don't expect anything to come from them like this. Granted, the current Collector's Edition is damn good for a 1-discer.

Still having problems with BBCode, Adam?
I'd have a Lion King: Platinum Edition...with just the theatrical cut on Disc 1, the original audio commentary and a new commentary. Disc 2 from the real Platinum set...plus a new documentary, and the original Robert Guillaume Making of Documentary...and all the trailers & TV spots.
