Well it seems that Disney will reissue Lady and Tramp II on June 20th! I guess it makes sense since the first one just came out.
Heres information and small cover art:
Buena Vista Home Entertainment will reissue Lady and The Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure on June 20th. This new edition of the 2001 sequel will feature a 1.66:1 anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Surround tracks, "The Making of Lady and The Tramp II" featurettes, Disney's Song Selection, "Tramp's Hide-and-Seek" and "Junkyard" games and more. Retail is $29.99.

Ugly cover art alert! (Why am I not surprised?) Even though the image is small, it's pretty obvious that Tramp, Jock, and Angel look off-model.

I've never seen it, but from all the good things I've heard about it (it's ranked up there with TLK2: Simba's Pride), I might have to pick it up.

Just make sure the binding will match Lady and the Tramp even if it is purple if I can recall correctly. With all the praise for this movie I will definitely buy this one.

The artwork looks okay but I might have to hold out on it since it comes out the same day of the Massive Supermanmania day.

That is some weird looking cover art! And yet it is a slighty bit more appealing than the original release art. I was never a big fan of this movie anyways so I'll be passing.

i've never seen this one,but i'll prolly like it. I like everything to a degree, and my collection needs it. I agree that the cover art is kinda wierd, but oh well i'm buying it!
one question though... i thought this was goign to be a special edition of some kind, but there is no banner saying so... has this changed then?

As a rule, I've stayed away from the Disney DTV Movies thus far... and you know what? I don't know why. For some reason, I just can't accept that there's a Bambi II... that there's a Return to Neverland... and not even my favorite Disney Movie, Lady and the Tramp, was spared.
... but I suppose there's nothing I can do about it, eh? Maybe I should just pick up a couple and see how things turn out. Suggestions?

I totally agree, pretty much all sequels I've seen were so dissapointing, and often ruins the beautyful original story... But however I would recommend TLK 1½...

I actually like the cover art. Much better than the original release.
I'll be buying, although I already own it. It will be interesting to compare the two releases.

Not that it's ever stopped me in the past, but it sounds as if the release is exactly the same. Of course, bar
The Lion King 1.5/3,
Scamp's Adventure was the most packed of the sequels, with a commentary, quite extensive making of and other trinkets.

Of course....this one will have the new cover art and a slipcover.
I know...it's the little things that please me. LOL.

I think the cover is okay, but not brilliant,i would of liked Disney to of produced a cover of Angel and Scamp sharing spagetti.

Was there ever any doubt?
Looks to be the same edition that was released before, except there's no mention of the commentary or the Disney shorts (though all those simply may be part of the "and more!" banner...). No reason for me to double-dip. Not even for a shiny new slipcover.

I own the original release of this movie so I'll be passing. Might buy a copy for my two nieces (4 1/2 and 2) though.

Quite the shocker, I might add...
It seems to me, as usual, that there's nothing special about this Special Edition DVD.

Not a fan of the cover art, but I might check this out. I missed out on seeing it the first time around, maybe this time I won't be so lazy.
