I thought this thread might be helpful in deciding where to buy Lady and the Tramp next Tuesday. Some of it has been listed in other threads, but it seemed like it might be easier to put all in one list. So far I've seen the following deals:

Circuit City: $14.99 with free "Go Fetch" playing cards

Walmart: $19.49 with bonus CD, $18.87 without the CD (online price, in-store may vary)

Target: $16.99 with child's admission in Movie Cash for "The Shaggy Dog"

Wal-Mart in-store price for "Lady and the Tramp" is $16.84 or the bonus disc version is $19.82.

Just remember Best Buy will price match any price you find, plus at Best Buy you will get the 'Tramp' plushie. You save all around on this deal.

Looks like I will be getting this at Best Buy and price matching it to Circuit City if Best Buys price is higher.

Technically, Best Buy only has to price match to other stores that are offering the same plush doll offer. However, it all depends on the employee you're dealing with. I have had them turn me down in these type of cases.

I think I will be getting the Best Buy deal, the one with the free plushie. Unless Future Shop is doing something better.

Remember that Toys R Us is offering both plushies if you reserve a copy. Though you pay $20 (as your total.) Next Sunday in the weekly ads, if Best Buy is selling LATT for $20 and all you get is Tramp, I suggest you reserve your copy at Toys R Us (before 2/27/06) and you can get BOTH tramp and lady. Though I think the plushies are a little bit different.

Best Buy's Tramp:

Toys R Us' Lady & Tramp:

I think the plushies are exactly the same but Toys R Us just had a different lighting for the picture.

Thanks for posting this magicalwands! Although, they dont look the same to me. The Toys R Us ones look more like stuffed animals whereas the Best Buy one looks more like a beanie baby. Anyone else think so?

Do you know if you have to reserve your copy AT Toys R Us or can you do it online? I've been looking online and they don't even have their own website- you go through amazon for it. If so, I'll probably go to BB for it.

Thanks in advance! :)

Does anyone think this will be a DMC Featured Title for maybe April? I'r rather buy it right away, but if I know it's going to be a featured title in the next month or so- i can wait a few extra weeks to get it.

Your welcome you guys, it was my pleasure! :D Let's see, on the reserve card it states "Offer good at participating Toys "R" Us stores in U.S.A. only." So I guess you have to drive to your local Toys R Us and reserve it. REMEMBER: the deposit has to be made by 02/27/06. :)

Really, Aaron? I have never had them turn me down on a price match, at the Best Buy I shop at. I guess I've been lucky. They have always honored the price match, plus whatever freebie, no matter what the other store is offering. I'm sorry that you've experienced this.

DisneyStore.com is offering free lithographs for about $20. Wait, everyone knows that.

FYE.com is offering a $7 mail in rebate. I don't know if the retail stores are taking preorders.

Since when did Toys R Us begin selling DVDs? I didn't know that they offered pre-orders.

I have one week to decide whether to take two buses to my local Toys R Us store to pre-order the DVD with the free plush toys.

How does pre-ordering a DVD from a local Toys R Us store work? I assume that the process is similiar to the procedure that the Disney Store has? I assume that I need to talk to a cashier or sales person to pre-order the DVD and recieve the plush toys.

Or is the offer only available online?

magicalwands did you ever make a pre-order or reserve your copy at Toys R Us because I haven't. I'm just wondering if I do make a reserve will Toys R Us hold it for me for that day. I have school earlier and can't make a fast trip to get them. That's why I prefer Toy's R Us over Best Buy. Hopefelly Toys R Us does price match.

Going to BESTBUY, getting a match price from CircuitCity, and on top of that..getting the plush doll for my cat!! I am at Best Buy every week it seems, the people at the register pretty much know me now (they don't check my ID when I swipe my card anymore). I will be spending a lot that day, THEY BETTER GIVE ME SOMETHING FREE!!!

Do you know if the plush at Best Buy comes with a pre-order only or with the purchase next tuesday?

You should be able to just walk in and pickup the plush at Best Buy on Tuesday. I didn't preorder with Aladdin or Bambi and still got the plush.

Does anyone know how big the mini plush are from Toys R Us? I'm debating going to Best Buy or Toys R Us for this. I would really like to have Lady and Tramp, but they look smaller in the pictures than the Best Buy Tramp plush. Also I doubt our Best Buy will price match and still let you have the plush.
