Dial-Ups are evil, Kelly. Really evil! Go use Road Runner or any other Internet provider. You won't regret it.

Anyway, I used Opera 8.0 (or something I don't know) because Opera has better security, much better than Internet Explorer. Plus, it has a pop-up blocker. Mozilla/Firefox is ok though but I kept Opera as my main web browser for now on. :)

Safari. Firefox was our #1 browser for a while but the RSS-reader feature built into Safari is just too convenient. Currently test-driving 2 others: Camino (by Mozilla) and Flock.

Mozilla Firefox and I use Sygate for firewall protection. Have not had any problems. I also have Cox Ultra-Hi-Speed Internet and am a totally satisfied customer.

It's truly the best browser out there, I'm very happy with it and switched back from using Firefox :)

Taking the liberty to answer for every UD visitor this month so far:

MS Internet Explorer 82.2 %
Firefox 11 %
Safari 3 %
Netscape 1.1 %
Mozilla 0.8 %
Unknown 0.8 %
Opera 0.7 %
WebTV browser 0 %
Camino 0 %
Konqueror 0 %
Others 0 %

Those 0% are actually more like 0.04% or less, I'm guessing because the stats show hundred to thousands of users of those. Interesting to see how Netscape has fallen. Didn't it use to have like 40 to 50% of all Internet users? Microsoft has the obvious advantage but for all its problems, IE still blows away Netscape. I use IE and when it's giving me problems, I turn to Mozilla.

^Wow... totally cool that you have those kind of stats. I didn't know such a thing was possible. Nice to see Safari at #3, even if it is only 3%.

I use Firefox. I'm also considering using Konqueror, although I haven't yet, it has the ability of opening two windows at the same time (split window). It's a Linux browser (KDE GUI).
