'Cause it did in France. In fact, I don't think it's available yet on DVD.

Nope, it's already on Disney DVD over here. Too bad, it really would have done well in theaters I feel.

Good, so I didn't have to spend another $7.50 to watch it in theatres.

Actually, I did my research and except for the US it will, or has been, released in theaters worldwide

In that case, the answer is no. "Bambi 2" is not released theatrically in the US. It was released on DVD last week. It was released theatrically overseas.

Nope, it wasn't release in the theaters in the US. If it did I think it would have done great at least $50 + million.

Bambi 2 was release direct to DVD and will go in the vault after 70 days.

Peter Pan 2 and The Jungle Book 2 were in the theaters and did well too.

Well, it looks like Bambi II has done pretty well in the markets it has opened in (that can be tracked).

Argentina: $59,726.00

France: $2,449,180.00

Italy: $1,195,576.00

Poland: $489,047.00

Spain: $749,040.00

Plus, the 2 million copies that Bambi II is expected to have sold in the U.S, which would equal nearly $40,000,000.00 at a sale price of $19.99 per copy.

They are counting down how many days are left. Now it says 63 days. I already have mine, and I'm glad I bought it. I think it's the best direct-to-video sequel I've ever seen, even better than Mulan 2 which I really liked.
